Rated 1 out of 5 by from Had this less than a year water is blowing out the faucet neck Bought this item spending a little more to get what I thought was a quality product. Water is spraying out of the side of the faucet neck. Not sure what to say other than I'm disappointed. Now I have to crawl around under the sink to put a new faucet in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet, quick and easy installation It was nice to buy a faucet without having a zillion pieces to it and several pages of instructions. It came with everything we needed. No other parts needed, like cartridges. Price was excellent. Would buy another Delta faucet any day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delta faucets always works, easy to replace parts Easy to install, looks good and is always reliable. Had a Moen which leaked, replacement parts expensive, and didn't live up to their commercials. The price was one of the cheapest of any single handle faucets. Finally, every part of the faucet is guaranteed for life!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faucet Replacement I am truly satisfied and also with the emails to and from Delta on problem I had. It was resolved in no time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value, better than what it replaced So far it seems to be good; no complaints. Lowest price kitchen faucet by q reputable manufacturer that I could find, definitely a better value (even at nearly twice the price) than the contractor-grade faucet it replaced, if for no other reason than the Delta warranty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from kitchen faucet was a little hard to hook up as lines were smaller than what I had before, and sometimes makes a noise when turning water on, otherwise works fine and spray works good also

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clunking I too have the problem with noise when turning the faucet on. It dose not clunk when the sprayer is turned on.I talked to a very pleasant service person who is sending me a new diverter which should cure the problem. I have used Delta faucets for many more years then I can remember and have never had a problem like this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Thumping like many others here Is a bad diverter (possibly dirty diverter) the resolution to the other folks who had the same thumping when turning on the water? I do not want to take apart and replace for no reason, especially since the alley nut is stripped and will be a pain to take off. Purchases this without looking at the review, I always look at the reviews, thats what I get. Figured Delta faucet should be good to go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Follow up review My Delta Foundations faucet also came with a thump when the water was turned on. Jon with Delta contacted me and sent me a replacement diverter which solved the problem. Very easy to DIY. Excellent customer service. I have been a Delta faucet man for years and this was the first problem I had. Thank you Jon and Delta. David K

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Faucet We bought this faucet and have used it less than a month, but so far it is pretty good. I have always liked the Delta brand as they used to advertise that they would never leak or drip. That has always stuck in my mind. However we are also cost-conscious. Last time our faucet needed to be replaced, we went with a competitor which also has a quality product. However within 3-4 years, we needed a new one. I was shocked quite frankly. Apparently the screws underneath were metal and they rusted/corroded and the faucet ended up getting loose. The person who installed our new microwave took a look at the loose faucet and recommended we get a new one. At the store, we saw the Delta faucet. The faucet was reasonably priced and we ended up going with it. When the person who installed the faucet fitted the faucet under the sink, he showed me that the Delta faucet uses these screws that are more rubber-like so they won't corrode. I expect this faucet to last longer than my previous one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Makes an annoying thumping sound I bought this at Lowes on sale 2 years ago, and from day one it has made an annoying thumping sound when turning it on. I would have taken it back but it's too much hassle. Spend the extra $ and buy the Delta Classic. I bought 2 for 2 rent houses and they work perfectly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worked great but made loud noise I installed this faucet with ease and it worked great but when I turned it on it would make a loud bang like a water hammer. Sometimes it would do it twice when I turned it on. I couldn't figure out how to remedy the situation so I returned the faucet and went with a different one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Thumping Noise When Turned On I am experiencing the same noise described in many of the reviews. When you turn it on you hear several quick thumping noises. It is making me crazy. It will be a drag to have to uninstall and return to Lowe's.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice - but problems I purchased this at Lowes in August 2015 and have lived with a thumping noise or three when first turned on. Read that diverter may be problem. Thumping is reduced with the aerator off, but don't use it that way. Assume this is warranty problem - must get my plumber back at my expense - bummer. Mike - Will look to youtube for video on replacing first. Please evaluate and provide diverter or answer to difficulty I'm experiencing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Like the style, dislike the quality I had a Delta kitchen faucet for over 25 years and it was nice, and did the job. I had to replace it a week and a half ago because the old one started to leak. I was advised that it would be better to replace it than try to repair it. I went to Lowe's to pick out something similar, my old Delta faucet lasted so long, I wanted to stick with the same brand. I picked out something that resembled my old faucet; I didn't want one of the faucets with the pull out sprayer in the faucet, I like to keep the faucet and the sprayer separate. This one looked similar and it fit the sink. Well, I should have read the reviews BEFORE I had it installed, when I could still return the faucet. When installed, everything looked good, no leaks and the side sprayer worked. The plumber had to caulk around the faucet base so no water would leak under the sink, so I didn't use it until the next day. Now I hear the thunk every time I turn the water on more than halfway. Sometimes it thunks when I switch from hot to cold or from cold to hot, other times it thunks when I go from a weak water stream to a heavier water stream. I thought I could live with it, but it's been a week and a half and it's driving me crazy. Unfortunately I no longer have the box so I can't return the faucet. The trash came before the caulk was fully dry. Now I'll have to buy another faucet and get the plumber out again to install it. I don't want to buy the repair kit, I shouldn't have to buy a repair kit for something that is not even two weeks old. I am not happy with Delta.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Attractive design and finish but almost always emits a thumping sound during use Bought a new build house in 2014 that has a beautiful kitchen, which includes the attractivly designed and finished Delta faucet being reviewed in this post. It I were rating the faucet on appearance alone I would rate it five stars. I really like the simplistic look and finish of the faucet. On the contrary, my rating for the the performance of the faucet would be one star. From my very first use of the faucet to the last time I used it earlier today the faucet has thumped loudly when I turn on the water. The thumping is very aggravating and annoying and seems to be a issue with this particualr faucet. It is going to the trash if I can't get it fixed. I recommend only if you get one that doesn't thump.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted! I'm enjoying my new Delta faucet. The spout is higher than my old one and reaches out further, too, so makes it easy to fill pots. I love the sleek style of it, too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very easy install and nice looking design. Unfortunately I could not give this faucet top marks because of the annoying thumping from the diverter when turned on. I read the reviews before purchasing, but hoped that the design had been improved by now. I think that this is the best looking inexpensive faucet on the market.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Delta faucet not up to par I always buy Delta, feel it is a brand I can trust. My kitchen Delta faucet needed replaced, it was many years old and I was very happy with it. My kitchen is old so I wanted a simple faucet, not cheap - simple. This new faucet looks fine, but has 2 major issues. First - it thumps. When I move the handle from hot to cold or high to low - it makes a thumping sound. This should not be. Second, the range to receive warm water is extremely small. When washing dishes it goes from very hot, burning hot to cold. I like to wash dishes or my hands in a very warm water but not so hot it burns. Delta did send a replacement part but I'll have to hire my plumber back at probably another $75 to fix it. They did not respond to me with an explanation, from the description of the part it sounds as though this fix would only fix the 'thumping.' If I'm going to pay my plumber again, I'll this time purchase a different brand faucet and start from scratch. Not convinced this one is worth keeping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We Love It, Love It!! (finally!) We bought this unit for it's simplistic and elegant design, and for the quality function of our old, similar design Delta faucet. Installation was pretty straightforward, excellent quality fit to the parts. A very nice-looking unit. However, as we turned the supply lines back on and started to use our lovely new faucet, the "thunk, thunk, thunk" started when the faucet was first turned on. It kept doing it for the next few days, so I called Delta Customer Support. The Rep said right away he would send me a new diverter part, leading me to believe this was not the first time they had this phone call! A few days later, the part arrived, and it was pretty easy to install. Well, the Thunk was better, but still persisted. A few days later, I called back, and was told by the Rep to remove air and debris from the supply lines by removing the faucet, allowing water to run through the lines for about 30 seconds, then re-assembling. After cleaning up the inevitable water spray, we let the faucet experience regular use for a couple more weeks. The Thunk was about the same. I called back a third time, and the Rep suggested that maybe there was debris in the aerator, and she would send me a new one. I told her I hadn't dismantled and checked the aerator yet, and if she wanted to hold, I'd check it right then. Sure enough, there was some debris in the aerator screen. I cleaned it out very well, let the hot and cold water run a good 30 seconds each, then replaced the aerator. It appeared to be working fine at that point, and told her not to bother sending another aerator at this time. It has now been near two days, and there has not been a single Thunk sound from our lovely Delta faucet. It is working beautifully, quietly, smoothly, elegantly, .... yes, we LOVE IT!! Finally!! It was an annoyance going through the hassle of getting rid of the Thunk noise, but all three Delta Reps were helpful, patient, and understanding. Yes, it should work perfectly out of the box, but Delta appeared to be aware of the problem, and did all they could to help resolve my problem with it. I've dealt with far worse product hassles than this. Thus, I'm giving them all 5-star ratings since the product itself, once working properly, is excellent quality and function, and Delta Customer Support was very sincere and proactive in helping us get the problem sorted out. We have a near-identical unit at work, and while it's good, it's not a Delta, and the difference in the smooth-touch operation and control, excellent water flow, and yes, quiet operation, is very obviously significantly higher quality in our Delta unit. Buy it. If you have the same "Thunk" problem, don't worry, it's easy to fix, and you will love the unit, it's first-class.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value This faucet was well made and easy to install. It's price was what got my attention initially. But the design and ease of installation are the factors that won me over in the end.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks nice, works poorly Originally bought a Lowes Project Source faucet for my home. Turned out to be poor quality and needed to be replaced after one year. I decided rather than replace it with the same product under warranty to upgrade to a Delta so I could install and not have to be concerned with replacement or repair for years . Now after one day the new faucet is making the same chugging noise as described by other reviewers. This is in a home that I lease . So now I need to drive back, remove the faucet, return it to the store, buy a new one and drive back to the property and install it. So this will end up being four trips to the home and several hours of time that could have been spent elsewhere. I'm very disappointed after buying what I thought was a high quality product. It seems as there is a inherent problem with this product but the faucet still makes its way to store shelves without being corrected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is an easy install and works very well. It's an easy install and there were no problems. It looks very good in our kitchen and matches up very good with our other devices.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality Beautiful faucet but every time I turn on the water it makes a jumping sound which can be heard all over the house. The plumber that installed the faucet said it probably is the diverter making the noise and it would stop after I used it a while. I have been using the faucet nearly 4 weeks and it still makes the same noise.

Delta 1090x Faucet -- How do I remove the Seats and Springs?  I'm trying to install Repair Kit 44124.  I've removed the Handle, Adjusting Ring, and Ball Assembly, but the Seats and Springs are stuck (or perhaps are not removable?)  Any ideas?

Asked by: Mark
Hi, Mark! Thank you for your question. The seats and springs for the Delta 10901LF faucet can be removed by scooping them out with the end of a small Allen wrench. Place the end of the Allen wrench into the middle of the seats and springs and 'scoop' them out of the valve body. Best Regards, Rosanna

How to replace diverter?

Asked by: John
Thank you for your inquiry, John! To replace the diverter assembly in the Delta Foundations Kitchen 10901LF faucet, please follow directions below. First SHUT OFF THE WATER supply to the faucet. 1. Remove the handle. On the lever handle, you should find a small hex screw that can be loosened with a 1/8" Allen wrench. The handle will lift off when this screw is loose enough. 2. Once the handle has been removed, unscrew the dome-shaped cap counter clockwise. 3. Once the cap has been removed, grasp the round metal stem (which is part of the ball assembly) to which the handle was attached and pull it out. The ball will come out, along with the cam and packing. You will need to reinstall these parts later, so be sure to note how they are positioned in the valve. 4. Grab the spout, wiggle it as you pull up on it and take it off the valve. 5. The diverter is the white and brass "button" in the center of the valve. Gently grip it and pull it straight out. You can also pry the diverter out of the valve body by inserting a small screwdriver into the hole directly above the diverter and pushing it out. Be sure to remove any debris that may be in the hole that the diverter fits into. 6. Press the new diverter into place and reinstall the other components in the reverse order. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social if there is anything else you need. Delta 1090x Faucet -- How do I remove the Spout?  I am trying to install the Repair Kit RP4412.  I have removed the Handle, Adjusting Ring, and Ball Assembly, but NOT the Seats and Springs.  The Spout does not slide off.  How can I remove it?

Asked by: Mark
Hi, Mark! Thank you for your question. To remove the spout for the Delta 10901LF faucet, you will want to first, remove the handle and unscrew the bonnet nut. The spout will usually come straight off. Very occasionally, you may have to twist left to right and pull up to remove the spout if it is not coming straight off. Best Regards, Rosanna

I just installed this in a new sink. I have a Kenmore portable dishwasher that I had connected to my old faucet. The adapter leaks on this one, like, a lot. I tried plumbing tape on the threads which did not help. Where can I get the right adapter?

Asked by: NotAPlumber
Hi, NotAPlumber! Thank you for your question. The Delta 10901LF Faucet has a 15/16"-27 thread size aerator. Unfortunately, we do not make dishwasher adapters. We recommend to check with the dishwasher manufacturer for the correct aerator adapter. Best Regards, Rosanna
