How do I get the handles off to repair leak?

Thank you for your question, Paul! The small button on top of the handle will pry off to reveal a Phillips head screw which will allow the removal of the handle. Make sure both the hot and cold supplies are turned off completely before removing the bonnet nut and stem assembly. Water appears to drain out of the spout after I turn off the faucet. Is this normal or is my faucet defective.

The flow rate on the hot water side is much less than the cold side. Both valves are wide open. Is there governor or restrictor on the hot side since this model 2133LF is ADA compliant?
