Excellent faucet choice
I wasn't sure how I would like this faucet but I am very pleased with the size and the features. I really like the positioning of the cold water - it is logical in the way that it operates. The pulldown faucet works well and there isn't too much splash in the sink.

Is there a way to reduce the water pressure after this is installed? Add an aerator or pressure regulator?
My children turn it on full power and they make a mess. I was hoping to reduce the pressure a bit.

Thank you for your question. This faucet has a flow rate of 1.8 GPM. The RP61607 adapter will reduce the flow rate to 1.5 GPM.

Current faucet has a 10" base plate, will this cover it?
Hello. My current faucet has a 10" base plate (not sure the name of this piece) across the top of the sink - the flat piece that mounts over the sink and creates a base to hold the faucet. Will this one cover it? I only see a measurement of 8" and I'm concerned there will be a gap.

How does the handle control temperature and pressure?
Does pushing the handle toward the vertical make the water cold or hot? If the water is turned off, does the temperature setting remain - so that one can turn it back on at the same temperature "setting"?
Temperture is mixed through handle control from vertical (cold) (to Hot) in full down or horizontal position. The pressure is always constant but the flow of water is controlled through the movement of handle in and out. It is linear as you move through hot to cold without any noticeable increase of water flow at the half way point. With handle in full open position the flow rate is fixed at 1.2gpm. but the pressure is always the same which is set at the local water pumping station into your home. Usually 60-80 psi

I want to install this faucet under my wall cabinets that have an 18" clearance from top of counter top to bottom of wall cabinet. Since faucet is just under 16", will I really be able to maneuver this faucet or will it be too tall for the space?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Essa Kitchen Pull-Down 9113-AR-DST faucet has a total height of 15 3/4" (400 mm) and a requires a minimum 1 1/2" (38 mm) clearance to the back splash. This should work for an 18" installation.

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Essa Pull-Down Kitchen 9113-DST faucet come with only the RP80522 hose and clip assembly. There are no other pull-Out hose assemblies made for this unit.

Do you have to hold the button to make it spray or can you just push it to the spray mode and it will stay like that until you press it again. This question is for the Essa and Leland models.

Can the aerator on this faucet be changed? Using this faucet with a point of use water heater which only works at a flow rate of 0.5 GPM. A flow restricting aerator is provided with the unit.

Thank you for your question. The 9113T-DST sprayer assembly should have a 1.8 gpm flow rate. If you are getting 0.5 gpm, we recommend to clean the sprayer by soaking this in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution. You may soak for an hour or even overnight to clean. My installation is through a quartz countertop through an access hole in the undermount sink. How do I ensure the faucet nut being tightened?
The faucet is the Delta Essa 9113-DST. The countertop is 3cm, quartz and the sink is a Kohler 5818-5U Hartland.
Will the nut fit through the sink access hole and sit flush against the countertop underside? Will I be able to tightened the nut using standard tools? There won't be enough room to use a sink wrench. Thank you.

WaterSense® labeled faucets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance. Thank you for your question. The aerator assembly for the Delta 9113-DST is non-removable. To clean, we do recommend to remove the sprayer assembly from the hose assembly. Soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mix for an hour or even overnight to clean the debris.

Thank you for your inquiry! Here is the cleaning care instructions from the Maintenance/Installation sheet, that comes with the faucet.
Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward.
If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use.
Avoid using the following which can damage your finish:
Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner.
Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents.
Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes.
Avoid bleach-based cleaners.

The base is loose on the marble countertop, causing the handle to rotate when used. What wrench tool can I use to tighten it? I will have to reach it from underneath the sink. I do not have the tightening tool that came with it. Can I use sealant?

The RP60924 wrench that was included with your model is recommended however an adjustable wrench will also work to tighten the mount nut and bracket below the counter.
