Not perfect, but great anyway
This faucet is described this way: "simply place your hand near the faucet, tap the faucet surface, or use standard handle activation." The part about placing your hand near the faucet is not reliable, but the tap feature is great and overall we like this faucet a lot.

Handle Falls Off and the Faucet Drips
I had this faucet installed about Feb 2021. However, about 6 months ago, the handle started to keep falling off because the set screw won't stay secure. Also, the faucet drips about 2 cups of water every day. I live in a drought state, so this is very serious. I researched this and find that you must take the handle assembly apart and replace a cartridge inside of it instead of simply replacing a washer! It's past the warranty period, of course, so I'm stuck with it. I'm not going buy the cartridge and then have to pay a plumber to install a new cartridge every 5 years. This is unacceptable. So I'm just living with this situation and collecting the water it drips each day and pouring it in my garden. But I'm not happy with this situation.

Great kitchen faucet
I now have 3 of these units in our main kitchen, (sink and island sink), and in-law suite kitchen. They are reliable, easy to install and look great. I am very happy with this product, which has replaced other, more expensive brands.

Attractive faucet but with some concerns
Bought this faucet to go with our new Blanco Diamond White sink. Attractive faucet with excellent spout reach. Functionally it works very well but I am surprised the water volume is not a bit more robust. Also, I am surprised that to make the hose connection between the supply and faucet requires an extra (supplied) retainer clip rather than having secure connections at the onset. I've never seen this before and in reviews I have read elsewhere, say the retainer clip can pop off on its own which is very concerning. I hope that does not happen. Finally, the installation instructions (and I have seen many in my lifetime) could have been way better.

I love My Delta 9113-DST Pull Down Kitchen Faucet. It is modern, stylish and heavy duty. I love the height of the faucet and the simplicity of use. I love the range for the the pull handle. I can fill a pot or pitcher without placing them in the sink. It cleans very well. I am pleased with my purchase.

Can the handle be installed on the left side?

How do you remove the aerator to clean it out if it gets plugged with debris?

How to choose between standard and bar/prep sizes?
Hi, I am renovating a kitchen and putting in two sinks, one of which will be a Franke TCX110-18 in a kitchen island. I am trying to decide which faucet will be a better fit for this sink, the 9113-DST (standard) or the 9913-DST (bar/prep).
Can you please advise which version of the faucet would be suitable for this sink? The sink's inner dimensions are 16x18" so I am wondering if the bar/prep faucet might be too small.
Do you have any guidelines on how to choose between the standard and bar/prep faucets?

Is the only difference between the Essa Single Handle Bar/Prep faucet and the larger kitchen version size?
Does the Bar/prep version have hot and cold water? I'd like to use this as my kitchen sink faucet ( small sink in an efficiency apartment).

Thank you for your question. This faucet is designed with a sprayer that does not have a removable aerator/screen. If you're needing to clean the sprayer head, you can remove the sprayer head entirely from the hose and soak the whole sprayer head in a solution of 50 percent white vinegar and 50 percent water mix.

Is there a way to reduce the water pressure after this is installed? Add an aerator or pressure regulator?
My children turn it on full power and they make a mess. I was hoping to reduce the pressure a bit.

I just received my black delta essa pull down kitchen faucet, and i have noticed that the pull down nozzle head of the faucet is made of plastic. is there a specific reason for this?

What is the degree/angle of the sprayer? It’s not listed on spec drawing pdf. The stream comes out at a pretty sharp angle projecting water about 2 inches forward by the time it hits the bottom of the sink. Is there a way to adjust more straight?

Thank you for your question. The Delta 9113-DST has an approximate angle of 18.3 degrees from the center of the spout to the aerator on the sprayer. There is no adjustment to change the degree of spray. Please make sure to check the level of the basin/countertop is straight. Thank you for your question. We recommend installing this faucet with the handle on the right. You may install the Delta 9113-DST with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature.

Current faucet has a 10" base plate, will this cover it?
Hello. My current faucet has a 10" base plate (not sure the name of this piece) across the top of the sink - the flat piece that mounts over the sink and creates a base to hold the faucet. Will this one cover it? I only see a measurement of 8" and I'm concerned there will be a gap.

How does the handle control temperature and pressure?
Does pushing the handle toward the vertical make the water cold or hot? If the water is turned off, does the temperature setting remain - so that one can turn it back on at the same temperature "setting"?
Temperture is mixed through handle control from vertical (cold) (to Hot) in full down or horizontal position. The pressure is always constant but the flow of water is controlled through the movement of handle in and out. It is linear as you move through hot to cold without any noticeable increase of water flow at the half way point. With handle in full open position the flow rate is fixed at 1.2gpm. but the pressure is always the same which is set at the local water pumping station into your home. Usually 60-80 psi
