Not perfect, but great anyway
This faucet is described this way: "simply place your hand near the faucet, tap the faucet surface, or use standard handle activation." The part about placing your hand near the faucet is not reliable, but the tap feature is great and overall we like this faucet a lot.

Handle Falls Off and the Faucet Drips
I had this faucet installed about Feb 2021. However, about 6 months ago, the handle started to keep falling off because the set screw won't stay secure. Also, the faucet drips about 2 cups of water every day. I live in a drought state, so this is very serious. I researched this and find that you must take the handle assembly apart and replace a cartridge inside of it instead of simply replacing a washer! It's past the warranty period, of course, so I'm stuck with it. I'm not going buy the cartridge and then have to pay a plumber to install a new cartridge every 5 years. This is unacceptable. So I'm just living with this situation and collecting the water it drips each day and pouring it in my garden. But I'm not happy with this situation.

Great kitchen faucet
I now have 3 of these units in our main kitchen, (sink and island sink), and in-law suite kitchen. They are reliable, easy to install and look great. I am very happy with this product, which has replaced other, more expensive brands.

Attractive faucet but with some concerns
Bought this faucet to go with our new Blanco Diamond White sink. Attractive faucet with excellent spout reach. Functionally it works very well but I am surprised the water volume is not a bit more robust. Also, I am surprised that to make the hose connection between the supply and faucet requires an extra (supplied) retainer clip rather than having secure connections at the onset. I've never seen this before and in reviews I have read elsewhere, say the retainer clip can pop off on its own which is very concerning. I hope that does not happen. Finally, the installation instructions (and I have seen many in my lifetime) could have been way better.

I love My Delta 9113-DST Pull Down Kitchen Faucet. It is modern, stylish and heavy duty. I love the height of the faucet and the simplicity of use. I love the range for the the pull handle. I can fill a pot or pitcher without placing them in the sink. It cleans very well. I am pleased with my purchase.

What is the degree/angle of the sprayer? It’s not listed on spec drawing pdf. The stream comes out at a pretty sharp angle projecting water about 2 inches forward by the time it hits the bottom of the sink. Is there a way to adjust more straight?

Thank you for your question. The Delta 9113-DST has an approximate angle of 18.3 degrees from the center of the spout to the aerator on the sprayer. There is no adjustment to change the degree of spray. Please make sure to check the level of the basin/countertop is straight. Do big box retailers carry the exact same products (fit/finish) as other retailers? Or are they made specifically for them to acheive lower price points?

Thank you for your question. We recommend installing this faucet with the handle on the right. You may install the Delta 9113-DST with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature.

How do you remove the spray head from the hose to clean the filter on the 9113 Essa? Instruction sheet that came with faucet only says to remove it; it does not tell how.

What determines the direction of hot and cold waters

The water flow is determined by the cartridge. When the handle is in the middle you will get a mix of both hot and cold water and as the handle is moved backward, the cartridge allows only cold water in whereas moving the handle forward, or towards you, only hot water is used.

Is there a way to increase hot water temperature on the Essa series mixing valve? The kitchen sink water doesnt get hot enough although all other faucets in the house do.

Thank you for your question! The Delta Essa Pull-Down Kitchen 9113-DST faucet is not designed with a temperature adjustment on the cartridge assembly for increasing or decreasing the hot or cold water. You may want to flush the hot water supply line and/or supply valve.

Does the sprayer of the 9113 ar dst stay in spray mode at very low flow rates? Which Delta models are best at staying on spray at very low flow and not switching back to regular flow at low flow rates?

The sprayer settings for the Delta model 9113-AR-DST are controlled by a switch that is on the wand. Even at low pressure, the sprayer will not change settings unless it is switched.

Installation with soap and dishwasher air gap?
With the 9113-AR-DST installed in a standard 3 hole sink where the left hole is for soap, center for faucet and right for dishwasher air gap with the air gap that is 4" away from center of the faucet and 2" high get in the way of the handle operation for the 9113-AR-DST?

Where can I find the list of codes for the electronics in the faucet? Ours is flashing RED 3 times, then BLUE. The faucet is in a new construction house, so we didn’t get any of the manuals and I can’t find anything on your site related to the electricals

How does arctic stainless steel finish compare to a brushed stainless steel?

Over the years, the color of stainless steel used on appliances and sinks has migrated from warmer tones, with more red in the color spectrum, to lighter tones where blue is more predominant. Arctic Stainless features cooler metallic tones, following a trend seen throughout the kitchen.

Thank you for your question, Zeke. You may install this faucet onto a metal sink. However, we do recommend to use the RP37490 Stabilization Plate if installing on a thin gauge metal sink, to help prevent it from flexing. This plate goes under the sink and can be installed as is or cut to fit.

Thank you for your question. The battery pack is under your sink attached by a wire to the solenoid assembly. To replace the batteries, remove the battery cover from the top of the battery pack. Take the casing that the batteries are in from the battery pack and change out the batteries. Reinstall everything back together.
