The quality of this faucet is terrible.
We have changed the battery at least 6 times in the last 18 months and now it's just not working at all. Not worth the trouble to have the touch activation or sensor if they don't work properly. Very frustrated customer.

Beautiful but...
I absolutely love the look of this but less than two months in, it started intermittently leaking from the spray nozzle. I've cleaned the nozzle numerous times and tried everything to get it to stop to no avail. VERY disappointing. I did not expect this so early in it's lifetime and it is not returnable.

Overengineered.
The solenoid ("brain") failed and had to be replaced within the first 3 months after installation. Delta sent a new solenoid which seemed to work fine. However, two years later, it is again malfunctioning. If you turn on the faucet, it randomly turns itself off without being touched. It is very annoying and I'd just as soon have a traditional faucet that works with the handle for on & off. No more of the touch on & off. The six batteries need to be replaced about every four months; expensive and also very annoying.
The spray feature works very well.

Time to replace our existing Delta faucet (had it for 25 years!) - which has a 12” high arc. I am worried that the Trinsic 15.5” kitchen faucet will be too big. I have an Elkay double sink that is only 9” deep on main side and only 7” on the smaller.

Can you toggle between stream and spray? Or do you have to turn off the faucet to turn off spray mode?

You can toggle between stream and spray without having to turn the faucet off. Touch2O® Technology is a sophisticated technology and understands the difference between a touch (1/3 of a second) or a grab (more then 300 milliseconds) and will not turn off when toggling through stream and spray.

Install with lever handle in the front
Can I install the faucet with the level handle in the front instead of to the right? If yes, would it change the location of the blue light for the touch2o motion?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9159T-DST can be turned so the handle is in the front. However, the blue light will also move. Also, the hot and cold will be side to side to operate.

What is the best way to clean the faucet in the champagne bronze finish? Any recommended products?

Thank you for your inquiry! The cleaning care information for your Delta Trinsic Touch2O Bar/Prep Pull-down Kitchen 9959T-CZ-DST faucet, per the warranty, recommends to always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward.
If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use.
Avoid using the following which can damage your finish:
Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner.
Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents.
Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes.
Avoid bleach-based cleaners.

I am having an issue I’d like some help with please. Sometimes when I touch the faucet to stop the flow of water we get a steady drip (sometimes heavier than others). When we use the handle to stop the water, no drip. What mechanism needs attention?

Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. Leaking from the faucet in the touch off mode usually comes from debris inside the solenoid. You may flush the solenoid by following these next steps.
1. Turn the water supply by putting your handle in the manual off position.
2. Disconnect the sprayer hose by removing the blue retaining clip.
3. Place a bucket under the male adapter coming out from the solenoid.
4. Run water into the bucket for 2-3 minutes. Debris located inside the solenoid should be flushed out after completing these steps.

I'd like to install the Trinsic 9959-DST bar faucet in my kitchen. I have a 3 hole sink. What model escutcheon should I use?
I have an escutcheon for my current faucet and want to know if I'll be able to use it. The current faucet base has a 2 inch diameter. What's the base of the 9959-DST? Are there other factors in selecting the appropriate escutcheon? Thickness? I don't know what brand or style the existing escutcheon is. See photo.

Can the handle of be mounted in any position?
In our particular application, the faucet is very close to the backsplash area. I fear that normal right side mount Will not provide sufficient space to turn the lever to cold water. I would like to mount the handle facing forward.

Hi Dave, Thank you for your question. The aerator on the model 9959T-DST that controls the flow rate is part of the wand assembly and not a separate piece. There is not an option to change out the aerator/wand assembly to a higher flow rate.

What is the 'real' battery lifespan?
I have had my faucet since Jan 2017. I've already had to replace the batteries once(March) and now the red light is blinking yet again. What is the problem? Manual states the batteries should last 2 years.

I’m considering buy either the arctic stainless or chrome. I currently have a chrome faucet from another brand and the handle has started to bubble and chip after 6+ years. Have you had any problems with the chrome? Which finish is more popular/durable

can the on/off handle be set up on the left side?

Thank you for your question. We recommend installing the Delta 9159T-AR-DST with the handle on the right. You may install
it with the handle on the left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature.
