The quality of this faucet is terrible.
We have changed the battery at least 6 times in the last 18 months and now it's just not working at all. Not worth the trouble to have the touch activation or sensor if they don't work properly. Very frustrated customer.

Beautiful but...
I absolutely love the look of this but less than two months in, it started intermittently leaking from the spray nozzle. I've cleaned the nozzle numerous times and tried everything to get it to stop to no avail. VERY disappointing. I did not expect this so early in it's lifetime and it is not returnable.

Overengineered.
The solenoid ("brain") failed and had to be replaced within the first 3 months after installation. Delta sent a new solenoid which seemed to work fine. However, two years later, it is again malfunctioning. If you turn on the faucet, it randomly turns itself off without being touched. It is very annoying and I'd just as soon have a traditional faucet that works with the handle for on & off. No more of the touch on & off. The six batteries need to be replaced about every four months; expensive and also very annoying.
The spray feature works very well.

What does a red light on mean?

Thank you for your question! For models manufactured prior to 2015, a solid red light means that the batteries will need to be replaced. Solenoids manufactured after January 2015 will cause the light to flash red when the faucet is turned on or off if the batteries need to be replaced.

Where can I find the Soap Dispenser pictured with the Trinsic Pull Down Faucet with Touch #9159T-AR-DST? The dispenser I am looking for can be seen in 'more photos' pictures positioned in the #13-20 sequence as you scroll across the images. It is not the model #RP1002AR pictured as a 'featured accessory.'

Hi Digitron6, Thank you for your question. We offer 2 styles of beverage faucets. The model 1914-CZ-DST which has a traditional style and the 1977-CZ-DST which has a transitional design. Neither are an exact match for the Trinsic model 9159T-CZ-DST.

Blue Light On or Off
When the faucet lever is on (open), and the water is off and not flowing, should the blue light be off since the water is not flowing? Or should the blue light be on even when the water is not flowing?
As of now, the blue light only comes on when the water is flowing, and off when it is not.
Is this correct?

How do I remove the screen for cleaning.

Thank you for your question. The aerator in the sprayer of the Delta 9159T-DST faucet is not removable from the sprayer. To clean, remove the sprayer from the hose assembly. Soak the whole sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution. This can be soaked for an hour or even overnight.

Hi- Looking at adding Delta Trinsic Kitchen and Bathroom Faucets, noticed that for the Kitchen fixtures you only have Artic Stainless for Trinsic, but for Bathroom fixtures you only have Stainless, what is the difference, will they look different?

The Arctic Stainless matches the newer Stainless appliances that are available now on the market. The Arctic Stainless has more brighter, blue undertones while the Stainless Steel finish has more of a red undertone.

Just had this installed 3 days ago and it just stopped working. Replaced the batteries and it started functioning again. It doesn’t rely on batteries for manual function so what is going on?!
Thank you for your question, Jessica B! The solenoid assembly is a component or "valve" that opens and closes when the faucet is touched. The faucet will work manually with the handle so long as this valve is open, however if left in a "closed" position while without power, this valve is unable to open on its own. Before this happens, the faucet can be put into a manual model by touching the faucet on and removing the lid of the battery box, or by removing the solenoid assembly entirely. An optional A/C power supply is available for purchase and will work in conjunction with the battery pack to ensure your model never looses power.

What does a flashing red light mean?
Thank you for your question, Jillsy! Normally, if a Delta touch faucet has a flashing red light, it means the batteries need to be changed. If batteries are not changed it can cause the solenoid to shut does and no water will run out of the faucet, until the batteries are replaced.

Another method is to remove the solenoid assembly and connect the hose directly to the faucet under the sink.

When adjusting the Handle to hot and turning on, the water flow is about 10% of what it was previous. The other temperature rages show no decrease in water flow rate but only at the HOT setting. What needs to be cleaned? Thank you!
