Overall, I like this faucet, but the spray option is 2 separate sprays instead of a full spray. Doesn't work as well to rinse of sink or rinse a sieve. My old Delta was better in this regard.

Over Priced, Under Featured
Faucet pressure is very low, almost to the point of being unusable and yes, I have flushed the lines, ensured none of the screens are blocked, etc. Without the shower head there is plenty of pressure. The issue appears to be in amount of stuff in the head. Further, when adjusting the touches sensor off since it gets so annoying to actually have the water go on and off when you move within 6-8 inches of the faucet, it never actually goes off. Even in the off setting, the faucet will still go on and off if you are within an inch or two of it. Lots of money for a faucet that I now just use the handle to turn off and on vs the whole point of touch/touchless.

Need a new handle and set screw for Model 9197-AR-PR-DST. I see the set screw and button listed under the parts for that model, but do not see the handle. Where can I purchase both of them?

does it matter if the predrilled holes in the farmhouse sink (Kohler 4 hole sink) are oversize for the cassidy single handle pull down faucet and for the soap dispenser?

I love my new faucet. Should have gotten it sooner. In any event, a little doohickey came with the faucet. The installer told me how to use it to clean the nozzle. Unfortunately, I can't recall exactly what he said. Can you please walk me through it?

What is the difference between the stainless steel and the polished nickel finished on the kitchen faucets. I do not want a shiny finish and so confused on which one to chose.

The Delta Faucet model 9197-RB-DST Cassidy™ Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With ShieldSpray® Technology In Venetian Bronze finish is similar to oil-rubbed bronze. The oil-rubbed finish is different in that the copper color is more of a lining and the deep bronze color is within the framing of the copper and Venetian bronze is a deep brown finish with copper flecks throughout it.

It is possible this issue can be resolved by cleaning the CASSIDY™ Pulldown Kitchen Faucet MODEL#: 9197-PR-DST. We recommend you try soaking the wand assembly in a 50/50 solution of water and white distilled vinegar. This could break up any possible calcium buildup inside.

This new faucet takes longer for the water to get hot than every other faucet in the house. Does it have a limit switch of some kind in the cartridge to keep the water from getting hot such as an anti-scalding type feature? If so, how can I change it?
I would like to replace just the aerator. What size and type do I need for the Cassidy?

If the spray feature on the faucet is still engaged when the faucet is turned off, will the faucet return to a default position of regular water flow the next time it is turned on? Or will the spray feature still be on?

However, our 9197-CZ-PR-DST has ShieldSpray technology, so when you use ShieldSpray it will revert the spray back to stream.

We have a touch less delta faucet model number 9197T-RB-DST. That has a drip only when the touchless function is activated. When I turn it off manually it stops. I have checked for parts but everything I see has new silonid and new battery pack .

I am comparing this to the Broderick Faucet. Looking at the specs of these using a comparison tool on another site (build.com) it states the Broderick Faucet is made with Brass and this is made with Zinc. Is that correct?

My delta Cassidy has no water pressure anymore I’m not sure what the problem is. is there a diagram somewhere so I can see what parts I need to buy to fix the problem?

I first recommend unscrewing and cleaning the aerator where water comes out. Run the water for a minute to flush the faucet before reinstalling the aerator. A replacement aerator and wrench for this model with ShieldSpray is RP90248.
If the issue remains, also clean the connection between the sprayer and the hose. There is a debris screen in the top of the touch valve under the sink. See here for more information:

I am looking for a faucet similar to this one with all metallic parts. Can you advise me?
Thank you for your question, Sissy! Due to legislation and new technology, the design of our faucets, as well as many of our competitors has changed over the years. Model 9197-PN-PR-DST has metallic components and non-metallic components. Almost every faucet is going to have some plastic components. Our PEX tubing doesn't bend,kink or freeze like copper lines can. All of our wand assemblies and veggie sprayers are non-metallic, due to the metal does conduct heat which can increase the risk of scalding.
