kitchen faucet flow optionsOverall, I like this faucet, but the spray option is 2 separate sprays instead of a full spray. Doesn't work as well to rinse of sink or rinse a sieve. My old Delta was better in this regard.

Over Priced, Under FeaturedFaucet pressure is very low, almost to the point of being unusable and yes, I have flushed the lines, ensured none of the screens are blocked, etc. Without the shower head there is plenty of pressure. The issue appears to be in amount of stuff in the head. Further, when adjusting the touches sensor off since it gets so annoying to actually have the water go on and off when you move within 6-8 inches of the faucet, it never actually goes off. Even in the off setting, the faucet will still go on and off if you are within an inch or two of it. Lots of money for a faucet that I now just use the handle to turn off and on vs the whole point of touch/touchless.

Nice design, poor functionBeautiful faucet. Unfortunately Sprayer head is not a strong contact so falls open or spins. Looks nice but function is subpar. Not worth the price, there are more affordable options.

Love my new faucetBeautiful feel, color and features. Very durable and great warranty
Is there a hole cover for the empty hole in the sink that matches a 9197-CZ-PR-DST? We have a RO filter and a soap dispenser, so the escutcheon plate won't work.
Asked by: Paul33
Hi, Paul33!
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not make sink hole covers. We recommend to check with a local plumbing supply or hardware store for a matching sink hole cover. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We recently got this faucet and when you switch the button from spray to stream and vice verse it still drips or sprays a little of the opposite option. If I go and push the button harder it will fix the problem. I’m concerned that eventually it won’t.
Asked by: Annette
Hi, Annette!
Thank you for your question. If the sprayer assembly is experiencing cross flow, water coming out of both spray and stream on the sprayer of the 9197-DST, we recommend to soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution for an hour or even overnight. If this does not solve the issue, we recommend to replace the sprayer assembly, RP72680. If you should need assistance with a replacement, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com.

How do I disassemble to clean the sprayer? It seems to have hard water clog, the spray is all over the place and the pressure is low.
Asked by: Jill
Hi, Jill!
Thank you for your question. The sprayer can be unscrewed off of the hose. You can soak the whole sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution. You can soak from an hour or even overnight to clean.

Rosanna

i like the style of this product, but some reviews suggest that its too big for a 24" wide sink. Is there a smaller similar product?
Asked by: Ronnie
Hi Ronnie,
Thank you for your question. We do have a smaller Bar/Prep version of this faucet available, the 9997-DST.

Can someone tell me the vertical distance (space) between the valve and the sink / escutcheon?
Our dishwasher air gap is mounted just a few inches from the hole for the faucet. It's been heck trying to find a faucet that has a right-side control lever that doesn't interfere. This model appear to have a higher mounted control lever but I can't find the measurement in the specifications.
Asked by: Reverberocket
Hi Reverberocket, Thank you for your question. The measurement from the deck to the bottom of the handle assembly/valve on the model 9197-AR-DST is approximately 4-1/2".
Thanks,
Dave

Which finish looks better with a stainless sink - Arctic Stainless or Polished Nickel?
I am having a difficult time being able to decide based on the online images which of these finishes will look better with a stainless sink. Any advice?
Asked by: Julie
Dear Julie,
Thank you for your question. The Arctic Stainless finish will match a stainless sink better than the Polished Nickel finish. Please click the link below to see a color sample side by side.

What type of metal is used and where?
I have searched all the Q&A answers, and although a couple of people asked what the faucet is made of, the answers given are not specific enough. Exactly what type of metal is used- Brass? Zinc? Zamak? What parts are metal and what parts are plastic? Your website conveniently (actually inconveniently) leaves out all details regarding material which is not a good sign for anyone looking for a quality faucet.
Asked by: DG
Hi DG,
Thank you for your question. The faucet body, spout, and handle are metal. Unfortunately, we do not have a complete breakdown of the materials used. In general, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate).
Best regards,
Jon
