Rated 4 out of 5 by from kitchen faucet flow options Overall, I like this faucet, but the spray option is 2 separate sprays instead of a full spray. Doesn't work as well to rinse of sink or rinse a sieve. My old Delta was better in this regard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Delta touch faucet Excellent product! Faucet is touch controlled making washing so much easier and is beautiful!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Over Priced, Under Featured Faucet pressure is very low, almost to the point of being unusable and yes, I have flushed the lines, ensured none of the screens are blocked, etc. Without the shower head there is plenty of pressure. The issue appears to be in amount of stuff in the head. Further, when adjusting the touches sensor off since it gets so annoying to actually have the water go on and off when you move within 6-8 inches of the faucet, it never actually goes off. Even in the off setting, the faucet will still go on and off if you are within an inch or two of it. Lots of money for a faucet that I now just use the handle to turn off and on vs the whole point of touch/touchless.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice design, poor function Beautiful faucet. Unfortunately Sprayer head is not a strong contact so falls open or spins. Looks nice but function is subpar. Not worth the price, there are more affordable options.

I am comparing this to the Broderick Faucet. Looking at the specs of these using a comparison tool on another site (build.com) it states the Broderick Faucet is made with Brass and this is made with Zinc. Is that correct?

Asked by: agmanns
Hi agmanns, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 9197-PR-DST. This and the similar Broderick model 9190-DST include brass and zinc parts. Both faucets use a ceramic cartridge and the water does not contact with metals inside the faucet. Please reach out with any additional questions! My delta Cassidy has no water pressure anymore I’m not sure what the problem is.  is there a diagram somewhere so I can see what parts I need to buy to fix the problem?

Asked by: Jerry
Hi Jerry, Thank you for your question! Please accept our apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! I first recommend unscrewing and cleaning the aerator where water comes out. Run the water for a minute to flush the faucet before reinstalling the aerator. A replacement aerator and wrench for this model with ShieldSpray is RP90248. If the issue remains, also clean the connection between the sprayer and the hose. There is a debris screen in the top of the touch valve under the sink. I am looking for a faucet similar to this one with all metallic parts. Can you advise me?

Asked by: Sissy
Thank you for your question, Sissy! Due to legislation and new technology, the design of our faucets, as well as many of our competitors has changed over the years. Model 9197-PN-PR-DST has metallic components and non-metallic components. Almost every faucet is going to have some plastic components. Our PEX tubing doesn't bend, kink or freeze like copper lines can. All of our wand assemblies and veggie sprayers are non-metallic, due to the metal does conduct heat which can increase the risk of scalding. Best Regards, Benjamin

Asked by: Tom64
Hello Tom64, Thank you for reaching out to Delta Faucet Company! The difference between our 9178-DST and 9197-DST is the design and the technical specifications. Both faucets use PEX tubing and will use a different type of cartridge. The 9178-DST will rotate away from the faucet, rotate back for hot, and rotate forward for cold. The 9197-DST will rotate away from the faucet for cold water, and rotate down toward the sink for hot water. https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/9178-DST.html https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/9197-PR-DST.html We appreciate your inquiry. Cartridge handle broke off.  Got a new cartridge and installed.  I now have drips at both the handle and the spout.  I have taken it apart and tightened and still have water leaking. Does not seem that complicated.  What am I doing wrong.

Asked by: armada
Hi armada, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 9197-DST. Please accept our apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing with leaks. We are happy to help! There would be an issue with the cartridge sealing in the valve. I recommend checking the seal on the bottom of the cartridge and wiping the valve and the seal to remove any debris or sediment. Also, removing the faucet aerator or spray wand and running full mix water for a minute can flush out debris or sediment in the faucet that may be causing a leak. Please reach out if the issue remains or with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

My aerator on my faucet head is not working like it used to.  It needs to be cleaned?  What is the best approach to cleaning the head of the faucet?  Do I need to remove it to clean it?  How do I do that if so?

Asked by: Martha
Hi Martha, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 9197-AR-PR-DST. We recommend soaking the sprayer in 50/50 white vinegar and water, let sit for 30-60 minutes, then rinse. Repeat as needed. Also, the sprayer can be unscrewed from the hose. Secure the hose to avoid it retracting and clean any debris trapped at the back of the sprayer. Since installation, the water pressure for both hot and cold water has been low and insufficient in this faucet. Is there a way to increase the water pressure for this faucet. D919CZPRDST. There was not a pressure issue with the replaced faucet.

Asked by: Scott
Hi Scott, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing with your Delta Faucet Cassidy™ Single Handle Pulldown Kitchen Faucet In Lumicoat Chrome MODEL#: 9197-PR-DST. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Low flow is caused by a blockage or debris, we would recommend flushing the faucet to remove the blockage. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process, also grab a towel, and a bucket. Please follow the next set of instructions, which can also be found on page 7 of the maintenance and installation sheet. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/106557%20Rev%20C.pdf To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole
