Rated 1 out of 5 by from Consider a different faucet Not happy with the function. Doesn’t retract well. But it is very pretty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything and more! This fixture is the perfect style for our kitchen. Our home is a historic Victorian home, and it has been fully remodeled. The style of this fixture is modern with a hint of old classic. I can’t rave enough about the finish!!!! A simple wipe with a dish cloth or paper towel keeps it so clean, and there are no water stains, even after over a month of use. We love this sink fixture, and all that it has to offer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely replacement kitchen faucet Our old faucet told us it was time so we chose a gorgeous new faucet (sorry, old faucet). It has updated features and is bright and shiny.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loosens easily I have had this faucet for a while and the only thing I can say bad about it is that it constantly loosens up. Now the bolt holes in the brass nut underneath as well as the the threads on the stem are completely shot and stripped. Very irritating to say the least considering the cost of the faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the flow! I have this in my house already and really like the size and the water flow. Very modern looking as well even though it's not square like. This is a great investment!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sprays Water Everywhere This was a splurge to make the kitchen beautiful. I am horribly dissatisfied with this faucet water sprays everywhere, the counter, the floor, and even on me. Do not suggest this faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased another for 2nd home!! We liked this faucet in our summer home so much, we purchased another for our other residence. It looks great, and we love the magnet in the sprayer that keeps it in place in the faucet!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this faucet I moved to a new home a few months ago and hated the kitchen faucet. I had this Delta Cassidy faucet in my old home and loved it so I ordered one for this kitchen. It was like welcoming an old friend. I love the way it looks and performs. It looks great in my new kitchen. It was a very good decision!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality The faucet handle came off the other day. It is a brand new faucet. I need to get it replaced, but not sure how. It has a lifetime warranty. I thought it would not come apart.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible spray and pressure I almost never write reviews. This faucet had terrible water pressure from the start. We even ordered a replacement part and it was still miserable. Finally replaced it with a product from a different manufacturer and FINALLY had enough water pressure. Don't buy this one. Its awful. Called Delta and they would not give a refund for the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replaceable internal part ? Our faucet handle has developed a stiffness to it when turning the water off. Is there some gasket or bushing that can possibly make for a smoother off/on action ?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Installation was a big problem. We ordered this Delta Cassidy faucet for our recent Kitchen Remodel. When it arrived we were pleased with the finish (rubbed bronze) and quality. Unfortunately, we were unable to get it installed properly via our plumbing contractor. We used Delta Faucets in our current house and prior house. The prior fixtures were good and Delta support was good, so we bought Delta for our remodel. The installation hardware is poorly designed and we couldn't get the fixture to stay tight to quartz countertop. We ordered a replacement faucet and had the same problem. We gave up and ordered Kohler Artifacts faucet in the rubbed bronzed finish. It installed well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous I absolutely love this Fossett. It is so high-quality, easy to install, and just looks plain stunning. I love how easy it is to clean. I love the finish. I love the fact that it has become a show piece in my kitchen. I love the height so I can put a pasta pot underneath and fill without having to put it on the counter and pull it into the pot. It is a very nice height. I love the polish on the faucet; it is just stunning. I love how easy it was to install, how easy it was to clean and prepare, and I love how easy it is to use. I love that it has the pull away faucet so that you can spray your sink down or fill anything up that you need to like a mop bucket. This faucet just makes your kitchen look high class I have nothing negative to say about this Fossett. I have everything to appraise. If I had multiple kitchens in my house I would install this Fossett in every single one that’s how much I love this Fossett. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a high-quality, high function, beautiful polish, and just darn sleek looking Faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kitchen Faucet I love everything about my new faucet; the function, the design, the pressure & the color. It blends so well with my backsplash & appliances. Just perfect!
Date published: 2022-04-29
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delta faucet The water pressure isn’t what I expected. Lower. And I don’t think that third feature for scrubbing is worth anything. Just take a rush and scrub the dish for 3 seconds rather than run extra water. But I love the look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy look, very easy to install!! We self installed and everything went smoothly, no complaints there, come with all the parts needed, I absolutely love this faucet, it's stylish, durable, and has great water pressure, the hose is long and it snaps back into place easily. Looks beautiful. The hardest part of the installation is removing the old faucet. I would recommend this faucet. Quality materials, easy installation, works well, feels nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic design This is a beautiful faucet that goes well with my decor. It has very classic and elegant lines to it. I do wish it came with a built in soap dispenser so I could have the matching pieces. Looks great and also functions great!
Date published: 2022-04-04
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Faucet Great Faucet! the finish is nice and goes well with a stainless steel sink. It's not 100% match but that could be wear or not, I am unsure. the single handle worked well letting you pick the right temperature of water you want without being a pain. The Nylon pull away cord is supple and doesn't have the cheap feeling you get from other faucets. The head is a good size when holding it solo with a nice a easy clip that toggles between modes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shiny and Beautiful I can’t believe how much of a difference this kitchen faucet makes! This faucet is absolutely beautiful. I must admit I was a bit intimidated when I opened the box only because I had never installed 1 before and I thought it would be difficult, I was glad when I saw how easy it was, the instructions were very clear. This faucet has opened up more space at my kitchen sink and it transformed my small simple kitchen Into an elegant looking kitchen. I love the small details on the faucet and I can go from regular water pressure to a spray nozzle quickly by just pulling it down. The weight attached to the hose pulls the nozzle up and puts it back in place quickly making it easy to wash certain things. Washing my stock pot has never been this easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this! This delta Cassidy faucet is so nice, I have been wanting a new faucet for awhile and definitely needed an upgrade. Absolutely love the spray nozzle, you can change it to spray, stream or shield spray, and it also can be pulled down for easier rinsing and when you don’t have a dishwasher it makes the job so much easier. I have always look for products that are refurbished you get pretty much the same product at the lower price and they usually have a warranty, this faucet has a 10 year warranty which is awesome. The only this that I didn’t like was if you needed the base or stabilizer they do not have it in stock anywhere so you have to make it work with hole covers or a soap dispenser, but otherwise I would definitely recommend this faucet to anyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful look I got this a month ago and installed it in our RV. This has been so nice. It sits so nice and high where the one that replace it was low and hard to wash the dishes. I love the design as well. It pulls out and can be used as a sprayer. Very well made. So glad I had this installed in the RV. I recommend this faucet highly if you are looking to upgrade your RV or even your kitchen.

Q&A

I have a Cassidy. Installed it according to directions. Everything works, except water pressure is normal with cold water, but as you move to hot the flow is restricted.  Any idea what might be restricting the flow of hot water?

Asked by: prez
Hello prez, Thank you for contacting us. I apologize for the low water flow you are experiencing with your Delta Faucet model 9197-RB-DST-R Cassidy™ Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With ShieldSpray® Technology (Recertified) In Venetian Bronze. We realize that can be very frustrating and I am happy to assist you! We thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Debris is typically the cause of reduced flow. If only one side is affected, there is debris in the supply line. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut-off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the middle position, fully open, then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and turn on both supplies. Check flow from the faucet. If this does not help, please let us know. Please contact us back directly via email with any further questions. Best Regards, Skyler

Does this faucet have a replaceable cartridge? We have been in our new home 3 years and the faucet has very low water pressure. Had a plumber check it out and the lines are not blocked.

Asked by: Philip
Hi Philip, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 9197-RB-DST-R. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! A replacement cartridge is RP73000. Or RP60114 if produced before 08/01/2018. The issue could be caused by debris or mineral deposits in the spray head. Recommended maintenance for reduced flow is to flush the faucet with the spray head removed and the hose secured. Soak the spray head in 50/50 white vinegar and water, then rinse, to help remove mineral deposits. https://support.deltafaucet.com/s/article/Why-does-my-faucet-have-low-water-pressure-1628028366405 Please reach out with any additional questions!
