Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attractive faucet but with some concerns Bought this faucet to go with our new Blanco Diamond White sink. Attractive faucet with excellent spout reach. Functionally it works very well but I am surprised the water volume is not a bit more robust. Also, I am surprised that to make the hose connection between the supply and faucet requires an extra (supplied) retainer clip rather than having secure connections at the onset. I've never seen this before and in reviews I have read elsewhere, say the retainer clip can pop off on its own which is very concerning. I hope that does not happen. Finally, the installation instructions (and I have seen many in my lifetime) could have been way better.

Went from a two handle to a single handle and the operation of this Faucet is very easy to use. Seems very well made & looks great. A friend installed it for me, which he said was an easy installation.

The pull down is a great feature which allows clean up to be a breeze. The controls are easy to manage. I also bought the soap dispenser which adds to the design. It was installed by my plumber who highly recommended Artic Steel due to its beauty and smug proof design. I am so pleased with this faucet. I needed to replace my Delta faucet after 20 years it was time for it to retire.

Handle is loose on side of faucet. How do you tighten the handle?

Hole size in counter required for 9913-ar-dst

how long is the hose? Is there any reason not to use this faucet at the main kitchen sink?

Hello Plaza, Thank you for your question. The Delta Essa Bar/Prep 9913-AR-DST model has a 62" hose assembly. This model can be used/installed as a kitchen faucet, it just smaller than the kitchen version. Best regards, Tanya

is there a difference between the 9913-DST and the 9913-AR-DST?

Smaller bar / prep or reverse osmosis designer faucet in the Essa line?

We have the Essa Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology (9113T-AR-DST) in our kitchen and ordered the matching Essa Single Handle Pull-down Bar/Prep Faucet (9913-AR-DST) - which arrived today and appears to be the same size as the kitchen faucet - is it supposed to be? We assumed the Bar/Prep faucet would be significantly smaller. If it is the same size as the kitchen faucet do you make a smaller bar / prep or reverse osmosis designer faucet in the Essa line or have a recommendation for something that would match?

Hi Djb, Thank you for your question! The bar version of the Essa should be smaller than the kitchen version. The 9113T- Spout length is 9-1/4". The spout height is 15-3/4 and the spout height from the deck the the aerator is 8-5/8". On the bar version the 9913 Spout length is 6-5" The spout height is 14" and the spout height deck to aerator is 7-5/8". There is nothing smaller than the bar version for the Essa collection. How do you remove the aerator to clean it out if it gets plugged with debris?

Is the only difference between the Essa Single Handle Bar/Prep faucet and the larger kitchen version size?

Does the Bar/prep version have hot and cold water? I'd like to use this as my kitchen sink faucet ( small sink in an efficiency apartment).

Does this faucet have shieldspray technology? If not, are there any plans to introduce shieldspray to this model and what would be the estimated time frame?

At this time, we do not currently have plans for this to have ShieldSpray Technology but we do encourage you to check back at a later time to see if there's a change for this in the future.
