Handle Falls Off and the Faucet Drips
I had this faucet installed about Feb 2021. However, about 6 months ago, the handle started to keep falling off because the set screw won't stay secure. Also, the faucet drips about 2 cups of water every day. I live in a drought state, so this is very serious. I researched this and find that you must take the handle assembly apart and replace a cartridge inside of it instead of simply replacing a washer! It's past the warranty period, of course, so I'm stuck with it. I'm not going buy the cartridge and then have to pay a plumber to install a new cartridge every 5 years. This is unacceptable. So I'm just living with this situation and collecting the water it drips each day and pouring it in my garden. But I'm not happy with this situation.

Attractive faucet but with some concerns
Bought this faucet to go with our new Blanco Diamond White sink. Attractive faucet with excellent spout reach. Functionally it works very well but I am surprised the water volume is not a bit more robust. Also, I am surprised that to make the hose connection between the supply and faucet requires an extra (supplied) retainer clip rather than having secure connections at the onset. I've never seen this before and in reviews I have read elsewhere, say the retainer clip can pop off on its own which is very concerning. I hope that does not happen. Finally, the installation instructions (and I have seen many in my lifetime) could have been way better.

Happy with this purchase.
So far so good. only been using it for a couple weeks now, but so far it's been great. Went from a two handle to a single handle and the operation of this Faucet is very easy to use. Seems very well made & looks great. A friend installed it for me, which he said was an easy installation.

Q&A
Can the aerator on this faucet be changed? Using this faucet with a point of use water heater which only works at a flow rate of 0.5 GPM. A flow restricting aerator is provided with the unit.

Thank you for your question. The 9113T-DST sprayer assembly should have a 1.8 gpm flow rate. If you are getting 0.5 gpm, we recommend to clean the sprayer by soaking this in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution. You may soak for an hour or even overnight to clean. Where can I find the list of codes for the electronics in the faucet? Ours is flashing RED 3 times, then BLUE. The faucet is in a new construction house, so we didn’t get any of the manuals and I can’t find anything on your site related to the electricals

How does arctic stainless steel finish compare to a brushed stainless steel?
Sink is brushed stainless steel (satin). Was wondering if the arctic stainless is also a brushed or shiny finish?

Thank you for your question. Arctic Stainless is a brushed finish.
Over the years, the color of stainless steel used on appliances and sinks has migrated from warmer tones, with more red in the color spectrum, to lighter tones where blue is more predominant. Arctic Stainless features cooler metallic tones, following a trend seen throughout the kitchen.

How do you remove the spray head from this faucet?

You will press a small button on the connector between the hose and wand which will then allow you to turn the wand counterclockwise until it fully unthreads from the hose.

I have an stainless steel drop in from top sink, no deck/counter top to mount faucet too. Can this faucet be installed directly to the thin metal sink with included install kit installed directly to the underside metal of sink?

Thank you for your question, Zeke. You may install this faucet onto a metal sink. However, we do recommend to use the RP37490 Stabilization Plate if installing on a thin gauge metal sink, to help prevent it from flexing. This plate goes under the sink and can be installed as is or cut to fit.

The RP73000 cartridge for the 9113-DST is a ceramic euro motion cartridge. Rather the unit has a ceramic cartridge or not it is built to Delta Faucet Company’s exacting specifications and are quality tested to ensure long-lasting performance.

My installation is through a quartz countertop through an access hole in the undermount sink. How do I ensure the faucet nut being tightened?
The faucet is the Delta Essa 9113-DST. The countertop is 3cm, quartz and the sink is a Kohler 5818-5U Hartland.
Will the nut fit through the sink access hole and sit flush against the countertop underside? Will I be able to tightened the nut using standard tools? There won't be enough room to use a sink wrench. Thank you.

The maximum deck thickness for the 9113-DST is 2 1/2". There is no extension kit or different wrench available.

WaterSense® labeled faucets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance. At this time, we do not have a different sprayer that increases the flow rate for the faucet. If you feel that you are getting less than 1.80 gpm, we would be more than happy to help you with this. Thank you for your question. The battery pack is under your sink attached by a wire to the solenoid assembly. To replace the batteries, remove the battery cover from the top of the battery pack. Take the casing that the batteries are in from the battery pack and change out the batteries. Reinstall everything back together.

Thank you for your inquiry! Here is the cleaning care instructions from the Maintenance/Installation sheet, that comes with the faucet.
Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward.
If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use.
Avoid using the following which can damage your finish:
Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner.
Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents.
Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes.
Avoid bleach-based cleaners.

The base is loose on the marble countertop, causing the handle to rotate when used. What wrench tool can I use to tighten it? I will have to reach it from underneath the sink. I do not have the tightening tool that came with it. Can I use sealant?

The RP60924 wrench that was included with your model is recommended however an adjustable wrench will also work to tighten the mount nut and bracket below the counter.
