Happy with this purchase.
So far so good. only been using it for a couple weeks now, but so far it's been great. Went from a two handle to a single handle and the operation of this Faucet is very easy to use. Seems very well made & looks great. A friend installed it for me, which he said was an easy installation.

Beautiful design. Instant upgrade to the look of my kitchen. Easy to clean. Delivers a steady stream of water. The pull down is a great feature which allows clean up to be a breeze. The controls are easy to manage. I also bought the soap dispenser which adds to the design. It was installed by my plumber who highly recommended Artic Steel due to its beauty and smug proof design. I am so pleased with this faucet. I needed to replace my Delta faucet after 20 years it was time for it to retire.

Beautiful and functional!
It's beautiful, sturdy and functional! We ordered it for our bar with a small sink. Being able to pull the sprayer out to get hard to reach places without getting the whole bar wet is huge!

Terrible Sprayer
An otherwise nice kitchen faucet with a terrible sprayer. Although the sprayer appears to have an aerator it is not replaceable and does not aerate at all. All it does is splash everything after bouncing the water stream off of the bottom of the sink.

Current faucet has a 10" base plate, will this cover it?
Hello. My current faucet has a 10" base plate (not sure the name of this piece) across the top of the sink - the flat piece that mounts over the sink and creates a base to hold the faucet. Will this one cover it? I only see a measurement of 8" and I'm concerned there will be a gap.

How does the handle control temperature and pressure?
Does pushing the handle toward the vertical make the water cold or hot? If the water is turned off, does the temperature setting remain - so that one can turn it back on at the same temperature "setting"?
Temperture is mixed through handle control from vertical (cold) (to Hot) in full down or horizontal position. The pressure is always constant but the flow of water is controlled through the movement of handle in and out. It is linear as you move through hot to cold without any noticeable increase of water flow at the half way point. With handle in full open position the flow rate is fixed at 1.2gpm. but the pressure is always the same which is set at the local water pumping station into your home. Usually 60-80 psi

How do you remove the spray head from the hose to clean the filter on the 9113 Essa? Instruction sheet that came with faucet only says to remove it; it does not tell how.

What determines the direction of hot and cold waters

The water flow is determined by the cartridge. When the handle is in the middle you will get a mix of both hot and cold water and as the handle is moved backward, the cartridge allows only cold water in whereas moving the handle forward, or towards you, only hot water is used.

I want to install this faucet under my wall cabinets that have an 18" clearance from top of counter top to bottom of wall cabinet. Since faucet is just under 16", will I really be able to maneuver this faucet or will it be too tall for the space?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Essa Kitchen Pull-Down 9113-AR-DST faucet has a total height of 15 3/4" (400 mm) and a requires a minimum 1 1/2" (38 mm) clearance to the back splash. This should work for an 18" installation.

Does the spray have the option to stop the flow of water?
I'd like to be able to turn on the water flow, then remove the sprayer wand and stop the flow of water when my pot is full if I'm too far to reach the turn off handle. Does the sprayer have that option, or do any of the other models that are similar in design?

None of our kitchen faucets have a pause feature. Only the on/off handle will stop the water from flow out of the faucet.

Is there a way to increase hot water temperature on the Essa series mixing valve? The kitchen sink water doesnt get hot enough although all other faucets in the house do.

Thank you for your question! The Delta Essa Pull-Down Kitchen 9113-DST faucet is not designed with a temperature adjustment on the cartridge assembly for increasing or decreasing the hot or cold water. You may want to flush the hot water supply line and/or supply valve.

Essa 9113-AR-DST. I want to have the handle on the left side. Can the action of the valve be rotated so that it still operates from vertical to forward?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Essa faucet can be installed with the handle facing the opposite side since the spout swivels 360 degrees. Please keep in mind the handle will operate opposite from how it would normally.

Is there an anti-scald adjustment and how is it done?

This cartridge is not adjustable and does not actually control the temperature coming into the faucet but rather simply controls the amount of hot and cold water allowed to mix in the valve.

What is the difference in the Emery and Essa? our contractor estimated the essa, basic model and installed the emery, faucet only. Tell me, quality wise what the difference is between essa and emery models. We don’t like the styling on the emery.

What is the difference between the ESSA Touch20 with an escutcheon plate and the one without except for the obvious? Can the model that comes with the escutcheon be mounted without the escutcheon? Without any issues?!!

VoiceIQ™ MODEL#: 9113TV-DST has VoiceIQ technology. That is the main difference. The Bar Prep Faucet does not come with an escutcheon.

How do I remove the spray head from the hose assembly?

Thanks for your question regarding 9913-DST! The sprayer can be removed by either, pulling directly out from the spout or, by twisting 90° in either direction which will cause the magnets to repel and the head to decouple from the spout (recommended).
