You need one of these in your kitchen.
I bought this faucet from Amazon a couple of weeks ago and it looks amazing. The touch feature is really cool. Am LED indicating the active temperature of the water is extremely useful. It even auto shuts off after a few minutes in case your kids are as unaware of a water bill as mine are. Super easy to clean. The hose has plenty of distance for reach. The sprayer switch it's nice and simple to use without accidentally switching or defaulting to one position. I highly recommend one of these in your kitchen.

Smooth Operator
We've been using this Delta faucet - although the black version - for a little over three weeks. We like the one-handle operation and the simple, elegant design. All mechanical movements are smooth and have a substantial feel. The removable spray-head utilizes a strong magnet that securely seats into the spout. Absolutely no drooping or lost connection. And no drips either; once you shut it off, there's no more flow. Clean design; sure controls; robust feedback - a smooth operator.

outdated directions!
We are loving how the faucet works and how it dressed up our old sink! The installation instructions are vague and don't reflect the actual parts in the box. Someone with lesser skills will definitely have trouble figuring out the proper installation.

Great product
Everything is good, just wish the water come out of the faucet head be little SOFTER. The water stream come out of the spray head not so forceful. Like the water is flowing out instated spraying out. That way may not cause so much splatters all around.

Sleek design, good quality and easy to install
Purchased this faucet to replace a 10 year old one (not a Delta) that could not be repaired. We have a bathroom faucet made by Delta that is over 12 years old and has never had an issue so though we would go with this Delta faucet in the kitchen.

Great design
Delta did well on this model of kitchen faucet. Typical pull down sprayers look stupid when not fully retracted (not in-use). The magnet on this faucet works well. High quality finish, feels solid and tight, easy installation. I am unable to identify anything that could be improved. Delta nailed it.

Faucet is beautiful. If not for 1 installation instruction issue would have given it 5 stars. The instructions don't show or mention the rubber gasket that goes between the faucet base and countertop. Luckily I saw it in the hardware pack prior to install. Faucet functions well, the pull down magnetic lock is Rock solid.

Just had this installed to replace a Moen, which had been replaced three times in 8 years - so much for their "LIFETIME" guarantee. However, the on/off handle islocated where it is easy to get sprayed unless you make sure the faucet is turned the other way.

Great product!
This is the most exquisitely designed and manufactured item I have seen in a long time! Hurrah for US based manufacturing. Installation was a snap after watching Delta’s YouTube video.
One suggestion....make fixed end (faucet end) of flush tube 4” longer so connector is below bottom of deep sink. Make the other side of flush line 4” shorter.

Simple and Stylish
I purchased this for an older home that I am remodeling. I had a Grohe faucet that I loved but it isn't available. Delta was recommended by my plumber.
I just wanted a simple, easy to manage, one-hole faucet without all the "bells and whistles"-- I can turn my water off and on!
I love the stainless finish. It is so easy to keep clean--just a quick wipe with a rag and water spots disappear.
Love being able to control the spay and water temp with one hand while holding onto a large pot with the other.
The high arc allows me to fill and clean my 12 qt. soup pot without "giving the floor a bath".
Love it so far. I will judge the reliability later as I have only had it a month.

Quality Faucet & Easy to Install

Sleek looking faucet
I purchased this faucet in the Stainless color. The finish isn't the best as the faucet always looks spotty and water stained. My main issue is the water sprays all over the sink, countertops and the person washing the dishes. My shirt is usually soaked when I finish washing dishes. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

You will press a small button on the connector between the hose and wand which will then allow you to turn the wand counterclockwise until it fully unthreads from the hose.

What is the diameter of the base? What is the diameter of the spout tube?

(61 mm). The diameter of the spout tube is 1.18" (29.972 mm).

The base is loose on the marble countertop, causing the handle to rotate when used. What wrench tool can I use to tighten it? I will have to reach it from underneath the sink. I do not have the tightening tool that came with it. Can I use sealant?

The RP60924 wrench that was included with your model is recommended however an adjustable wrench will also work to tighten the mount nut and bracket below the counter. We do not recommend applying sealant as this could make future repairs difficult. Please contact us directly if you have questions or need further assistance.

hot/cold? and direction
Does this bar faucet dispense hot and cold water? Does the lever only go in one direction or does pulling forward give hot water and pushing backwards give cold water ?

Thank you for your question, Linda! This faucet dispenses hot and cold water. The handle operates by tilting away from the faucet to turn on. The vertical position gives cold water and rotating the handle forward provides hot.

Does this bar faucet swivel side to side in case you need to push it out of the way to make more room in your sink for a taller item? Also do you have to keep the button pressed down in order to keep it on a different spray mode?

Thank you for your question. The Delta 9913-DST faucet spout rotates 360˚. The toggle button on the sprayer does not need to be kept pressed down. The button will stay pressed down after the button is released.

Can the Essa bar prep faucet be used as a cold water faucet only connected to an under sink water filter? The water filter is not an RO type.
Thank you for your question, jomo! This bar prep faucet is not recommended to be used with a filtered system. We would recommend a beverage faucet as they have only one supply line and are designed to be a cold water dispenser only. These models are designed to compliment various collections and can be used with filtered or Reverse Osmosis machines.

Whats the difference between a kitchen faucet and a prep faucet??

the difference between the Delta Essa kitchen and bar/prep faucets is the height and reach of the spout assemblies. The Bar/Prep 9913-DST faucet is smaller in size than the kitchen 9113-DST standard kitchen faucet.

Have just installed this faucet and it is putting out about a quart a minute. I have checked the screen in the nozzle and it appear totally clean. Other faucets in the house work just fine with flow several times the new faucet. What can I do?

Thank you for your inquiry! Most issues with low flow, such as yours, are due to some kind of debris entering the faucet from your water line, which can cause noises as the debris moves, or cause low or sporadic flow as the water continues to move the debris around. We would advise flushing the valve body and Innoflex PEX lines of the Delta Essa Pull-Down Bar/Prep 9913-DST faucet.
To flush out the valve body, so that these parts do last as long as possible, please first turn off the water supply to the faucet. Gather an adjustable wrench, some towels and a bucket.
Disconnect the hot side Innoflex line. Move the handle to the full on position, middle temp.
Point the hot side Innoflex line into a bucket. Turn on the cold supply valve full.
Let a gallon or two flow into the bucket. Shut off cold supply.
Check bucket for debris. If no debris, empty bucket and run one more time.
Move handle to off position.
Reattach hot side line. Turn on both water supply valves.
