Beautiful but...
I absolutely love the look of this but less than two months in, it started intermittently leaking from the spray nozzle. I've cleaned the nozzle numerous times and tried everything to get it to stop to no avail. VERY disappointing. I did not expect this so early in it's lifetime and it is not returnable.

Magnetic ring detached and broke.
Hi, is an excellent product, I would like to know if you sell the magnetic ring, is not on your parts list.
Mine detached from the goose neck, and it broke.
Is a metal magnetic ring. I Really need this part and instructions of how to attach it.

Overengineered.
The solenoid ("brain") failed and had to be replaced within the first 3 months after installation. Delta sent a new solenoid which seemed to work fine. However, two years later, it is again malfunctioning. If you turn on the faucet, it randomly turns itself off without being touched. It is very annoying and I'd just as soon have a traditional faucet that works with the handle for on & off. No more of the touch on & off. The six batteries need to be replaced about every four months; expensive and also very annoying.
The spray feature works very well.

The faucet is beautiful. I would have appreciated better, easier-to-follow directions for the on/off feature. I'm still working on the temperature feature.

Hot and cold labels not consistent
I have both this faucet and the Trinsic single-handle bathroom vanity faucet. The cold and hot label are in the opposite direction. For one faucet, when you pull towards the wall, it is hot; in the other, it is cold. It is dangerous for young children, and annoying for us and guests as it is not consistent.
Is there any way this can be fixed?

Great!! But handle needs a cover.
Installed this a few years ago: Love it! However the handle needs a cover so it doesn’t activate the on/off switch for water supply when trying regulate the volume/temp. Frustrating but manageable. Hopefully Delta has a handle cover (can’t find one).

I usually wash with the spray setting toggled on. Does the spray setting stay on when you touch the faucet off and on, or does it revert to stream?

Does the 9959T-DST faucet have an option for a 1.5gpm aerator to be added?

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Trinsic Bar/Prep 9959T-DST faucet is designed with only a 1.8 GPM at 60 PSI flow rate. There are no other or extra parts for increasing or decreasing the flow rate of this faucet.

What is the height of the handle from the countertop?
We have a breakfast bar behind our sink. The clearance to the backsplash at the countertop is 2.5 inches, which is sufficient for the Trinsic faucet. However, there is a half inch overhang from the breakfast bar. This overhang begins at 5 inches above the countertop. Consequently, the clearance is only 2 inches at that overhang. Will this interfere with the operation of the handle?
No this should not interfere with your clearance as I had 2" for my facucet to the back splash

Can the on/off handle be reversed to the left side during installation

Thank you for your question. We recommend installing the faucet with the handle on the right. The handle operates by tilting away from the faucet to turn on. The vertical (back) position gives cold water and rotating the handle forward provides hot. Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse the movement, so if the handle is installed on the left, it will rotate backwards. Also, reversing the installation would move the LED light to the back of the faucet.

Can we install this trinsic single in Europe?

Thank you for your question! The faucet can be installed in other countries, however it may require supply adapters. It is designed to connect to 3/8" compression fittings. Please also note that the warranty will not apply to faucets installed in Europe.

Time to replace our existing Delta faucet (had it for 25 years!) - which has a 12” high arc. I am worried that the Trinsic 15.5” kitchen faucet will be too big. I have an Elkay double sink that is only 9” deep on main side and only 7” on the smaller.

Thank you for your question. The Delta 9959T-DST Bar/Prep faucet is slightly smaller than the full-size kitchen faucet, 9159T-DST. The 9959T-DST Bar/Prep faucet is 13" and the full-size kitchen faucet, 9159T-DST, is 15 11/16". Here is a link to the technical specifications sheet that will show the measurements for both units:

Can you toggle between stream and spray? Or do you have to turn off the faucet to turn off spray mode?

You can toggle between stream and spray without having to turn the faucet off. Touch2O® Technology is a sophisticated technology and understands the difference between a touch (1/3 of a second) or a grab (more then 300 milliseconds) and will not turn off when toggling through stream and spray.
