Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice soap dispenser This is a very nice looking soap dispenser, not like a commercial one. Stylish and good quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Product I have two of these soap dispensers in my new build home and neither of them work any more. They are only eight months old. One of them does not work at all and only worked for about a month, and the other barely works anymore. We put all Delta products through our entire house because our builder said they were the best. I am VERY disappointed in this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Handle doesnt reach far enough and doesn't hold enough soap Good looking soap dispenser - have been using it for about 3 months. Works fine, BUT - IMHO it doesn' hold enough soap (13oz) I thought twice i must not have filled it up all the way, only to have it overflow all over the eschelon. Also the handle does not reach far enough over and into the sink. Almost impossible to squirt soap into a pot or bowl, have to put it on a sponge first then let the soap go into the cooking pot/pan/bowl. Maybe I just do a lot of dishes. Looking for a new one right now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, it works I wasn't sure it would match the faucet in color. (WHY does Delta have only two soap dispensers, neither of which match most of the faucets? Wanted one with a matching square base.) Fortunately it does despite a different name for the finish. And despite a squared off kitchen sink faucet it looks fine. The top of the dispenser is thankfully large enough and the rise in the spout doesn't interfere with using it with grotty kitchen hands.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not durable, breaks easily, expensive replacement This is the second time we purchase this soap dispenser and it broke again after 3 years. Does this have lifetime warranty and if so how do i get a replacement? I don't want to spend more money on this as this is now costs over $100, which is ridiculous.

can a cream type lhan soap  be used with this dispenser?

Asked by: Warren
Hi, Warren! Thank you for your question. Our Delta Soap Dispensers can use liquid dish soap, liquid hand soap, alcohol based hand-sanitizer,and even typical hand lotions. Foaming soap will pump from the soap dispenser but it will not foam. Best Regards, Rosanna

There's a loose black rubber gasket & also a white sealant attached the bottom of the base that affixes to the top side of the sink. The white seal seems to replace silicone. Does the black gasket still go above the sink, or below with the plastic nut?

Asked by: Bill
Hello Bill, Thank you for your question on the Delta Soap / Lotion Dispenser. I will be happy to assist you today. The black gasket should be installed below the deck between the deck and the mounting nut. If you ever have any questions, concerns, or require anything further please feel free to give us a call on our warranty line at 800-345-3358 and we will be happy to assist you in any way that we can. How to refill the bottle

Can't simply pour soap into top... it just overflows. Do you make some easy way to handle this?
Asked by: Clyde
Thank you for your question. We do recommend filling your soap dispenser from the top to prevent bottle breakage from taking the bottle on and off. We do offer a funnel that may make it easier when filling your soap dispenser from the top. Delta Faucet model # RP30395 can be purchased at your local retailer or wholesaler.

Picture shows gasket above sink, but instructions state to put through hole in sink - which is correct?

Is there a replacement pump replacement that uses foaming soap?

I have a new Delta kitchen faucet that came with this soap dispenser and would like to replace just the pump portion so I could use foaming soap that foams when pumping into my hand.
Asked by: Jack
Dear Jack, Thank you for your question. The RP47888 is the only pump made for the Delta RP50781 Soap/Lotion Dispenser. Soap Dispensers can use liquid dish soap, liquid hand soap, alcohol based hand-sanitizer,and even typical hand lotions. We do not recommend foaming soaps, because Delta soap/lotion dispensers are not designed to release foam from them. Best regards, Tanya

I am trying to match a brushed nickel faucet with your soap dispenser. What is difference in color between Actic Stainless and just Stainless?

Is Stainless or Arctic Stainless what you consider to be equal to brushed nickel?
Asked by: Mortman
Thank you for your question. The difference between Artic Stainless and Stainless Steel is that Artic Stainless more closely matches today stainless steel appliances. It has a bluer tint to the finish and Stainless Steel has a gold tint to the finish.

Also, the handle on mine does not look like the one in the parts list that is shown on this website. See photo.
Asked by: Tracy
Hi Tracy, Thank you for your question. The 4353-AR-DST was not offered with a soap dispenser. Only the (SS) brilliance stainless 4353-SSSD-DST, and the chrome 4353-SD-DST came with the soap dispenser. Based on your photograph the soap dispenser pictured is not a Delta product. Thanks, Dave

Black gasket placement on soap dispenser installation

The diagram photo and your previous reply in Q&A state that the black gasket should be installed on top of the sink. How is this possible, there is then a gap (probably 2 mm large, the size of the gasket) between the base of the product and the sink, the dispenser will not sit flush mount, water will definitely get into the gap. The mounting nut is tightly in place underneath, that is not the issue, the design seems majorly flawed. How do you get a flush mount installation to avoid water damage when the black gasket is preventing the unit from sitting flush?
Asked by: Susan
Dear Susan, Thank you for your question. The gasket for installing the Delta RP50781 Soap/Lotion dispenser is a thin foam white gasket. This gasket fits on the underside of the trim base, that sits on the sink/counter top. Best regards, Tanya

Thank you for your question, JimZ! Delta soap dispensers are designed to fit most standard installation holes but will require a minimum 1 1/4" to accommodate the threaded shank. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-4380-SD-DST_Rev_B.pdf Best regards, Edward
