Awful Product
I have two of these soap dispensers in my new build home and neither of them work any more. They are only eight months old. One of them does not work at all and only worked for about a month, and the other barely works anymore. We put all Delta products through our entire house because our builder said they were the best. I am VERY disappointed in this product.

Handle doesnt reach far enough and doesn't hold enough soap
Good looking soap dispenser - have been using it for about 3 months. Works fine, BUT - IMHO it doesn' hold enough soap (13oz) I thought twice i must not have filled it up all the way, only to have it overflow all over the eschelon. Also the handle does not reach far enough over and into the sink. Almost impossible to squirt soap into a pot or bowl, have to put it on a sponge first then let the soap go into the cooking pot/pan/bowl. Maybe I just do a lot of dishes. Looking for a new one right now!

Nice, it works
I wasn't sure it would match the faucet in color. (WHY does Delta have only two soap dispensers, neither of which match most of the faucets? Wanted one with a matching square base.) Fortunately it does despite a different name for the finish. And despite a squared off kitchen sink faucet it looks fine. The top of the dispenser is thankfully large enough and the rise in the spout doesn't interfere with using it with grotty kitchen hands.

Not durable, breaks easily, expensive replacement
This is the second time we purchase this soap dispenser and it broke again after 3 years. Does this have lifetime warranty and if so how do i get a replacement? I don't want to spend more money on this as this is now costs over $100, which is ridiculous.

What is the outer diameter of the tube that extends into the bottle?
I want to extend it with vinyl tubing so that I can use a giant size detergent bottle. Thank you.

Thank you for your question. The straw is 11/32" in diameter. However, we recommend to only use the included 13 oz bottle, as the threads may not support additional weight.

What type of hand soap should I be using in my Delta model 11946-SD-DST soap dispenser?
The dispenser seems to get plugged up frequently. I am currently using a brand called Softsoap. I have also used Dial liquid. They both just plug up the dispenser. Should I be using a liquid foaming soap?
Hi Vicki, Thank you for your question. Any liquid soap will work in the soap dispensers. The foamimg soap will not foam when used in the soap dispenser. Without frequent use the soap can dry out affecting the performance of the dispenser.

Is there a shorter soap dispenser bottle? We cannot install the bottle due to the location of the plumbing. We would need a 4 inch bottle instead of the large capacity 6.5 inch height.

How do I know which color soap dispenser I have? Part number is RP50781SS. I would call the color brushed nickel. That is not an option. Stainless, Artic stainless, and spotshield stainless all look the sane.

Can the head be swiveled left or right to be out of the way?

What is the difference between spotshield stainless, stainless and arctic stainless

Over the years, the color of stainless steel used on some appliances and sinks has migrated from warmer tones, with more red in the color spectrum, to lighter tones where blue is more predominant. Arctic Stainless features cooler metallic tones, following this trend seen throughout the kitchen.
SpotShield Stainless and Stainless Steel appear the same and have a warmer tone. SpotShield finishes are water-resistant to help prevent water spots from forming.

Use my own soap bottle
I'd like to use a large jug of dish soap on the floor of my under-sink cabinet instead of the small screw in bottle that comes with this unit. What size Pex or vinyl tube do I need to make this work? Is it one with a specific outside diameter (mentioned in another question on this site) or does it need a proper inside diameter to push directly into the pump?

Is this soap dispenser top metal or plastic? I just bought the Saville faucet and the soap dispenser that comes with it has a venetian bronze plastic top. I'm not comfortable with holding up to cleaning.

How do I order a replacement BOTTLE for this soap dispenser? There is no part number.
When refilling the soap bottle for this soap dispenser, the threaded neck snapped off. I see no product number for the bottle on the parts illustration. I tried to purchase a replacement at my local home improvement store, but the only option they had does not fit—the threads of the neck do not align and screw in.

I have the RP50781AR Soap/Lotion Dispenser that we bought new in January 2014. It won't pump now. I've taken the head with the tube out and washed it with warm water. The white part with the spring in it appears to be stuck/frozen and won't pump. Any idea

All parts and finishes of the Delta faucet are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. Delta recommends using a professional plumber for all installation and repair.
Delta will replace, FREE OF CHARGE, during the warranty period, any part or finish that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.
Replacement parts may be obtained by calling 1‑800‑345‑DELTA (3358).

Which finish is closer to "Brushed Nickel". Stainless or Artic Stanless?
I am trying to match existing Delta Kitchen faucet with replacement Delta soap dispenser for which the spout broke off. This dispenser has a potentially stronger design so the spout will not break off, but is not available in "Brushed Nickel".
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP50781 is available in Champagne Bronze, Artic Stainless, Stainless Steel, Chrome and Venetian Bronze. The Artic Stainless has a bluish tint and most closely resembles the stainless steel applicances in the market today. The Stainless Steel finish has a more gold tint to it and looks a little more brushed than the Artic Stainless.

Black gasket placement on soap dispenser
Your previous answer regarding the placement of the black rubber gasket during installation states that there in a thin foam white gasket that fits on the underside of the trim base, that sits on the sink/counter top. Since this foam white gasket has already been affixed, I assume your instuctions to remove the gasket refers to the black rubber gasket? If so, where should I install this black rubber gasket?

Do you have "any" kitchen sink soap dispensers that work with foaming soap? The one I have will pump the soap but it will not foam. Do any models have the aeration needed?

Foaming soap dispensers have a chamber that mixes air into the soap. Our soap dispensers do not have that chamber.
