Touch₂O^® Technology will work with any sink material, including stainless steel. For best performance, metal countertops are not recommended for use with a Touch₂O^® Technology faucet. It is also recommended that you do not install the faucet within 4” of a metal backsplash behind the faucet. The Touch₂O_.xt™ faucets are best designed to work on non metallic sinks. If used on a metallic sink touching the sink could activate the faucet.
