Separate the LED cable (black wire with the stereo plug) as much as possible from the red spout sensor wire. Bundling these wires together will decrease touch sensitivity, while separating them will increase touch sensitivity. Route all wires away from all hoses and supply lines to prevent contact. DO NOT bundle wires together or wrap them around drains.

Yes. The installation process is just like installing a regular faucet with an addition of one more component and a few easy-to-connect wires. Because the faucet works on batteries, there is no need to hire an electrician to assist with the installation. Even the batteries are included in the box. Your Touch₂O^® or Touch₂O_.xt™ Technology faucet is powered by batteries, therefore the “Touch” and/or hands-free functions will still operate during a power outage. Even without battery power, the faucet will operate with manual function.
