The Touch₂0^® Technology faucet features DIAMOND™ Seal Technology, which has PEX waterways. This means that the waterways are lead free so once inside the faucet, water does not come into contact with metal contaminants nor any of the specialized “Touch” components, alleviating any electrical safety risks. Touch₂0^® Technology operates on 6-Volt batteries and according to electrical safety codes, anything less than 24V is considered safe.
