Poor quality!
Our experience with this product was disappointing. It only lasted a year and stopped working. If you don't press it straight down it cracks inside. It's plastic and has little support inside the top piece where you press down. Not a good product if you have children who can't reach to press it straight down and gently.

Good function, could dispense soap further out
I installed this with our new companion Pilar Touch faucet. It looks great, and works well. However, the landing position of the liquid soap should be further into the sink in our installation.
The unit is easy to refill, and you can use the typs of soap you like.

Looks great.
This soap dipenser looks a lot better than any bottle that you have to have on top of your counter. My only problem is the difficulty in filling the dispenser. You have to do it from under the cabinet. If you are like me you have a bunch of stuff under the sink that has to be taken out every time you fill the dispenser. Luckily the bottle is big so I haven't had to do it much. The dispenser has saved me money on dish soap. I would still recommend this because it looks great and has taken care of that nasty bottle of soap on the counter.

It was okay. The piece looks nice but it is a bit hard to get the soap out. It may be made like that to prevent you from using more soap but it doesn't function well when you have to push hard to get soap out.

Delta soap dispenser
This soap dispenser came with the Delta Pull out faucet we bought approximately 4 months ago. We were pleased with the appearance of the dispenser in a nice chrome finish and very good style. This installed very easy with pre-drilled holes in sink. It is very easy to fill from the top of sink, just pour slowly. My review of only 2 stars is after 4 months of use, it has stopped pumping. It only pumped about 1 tsp. of soap per pump from the beginning, but now has stopped pumping. The pump goes down, but will not return up to pump again. I tried to get a replacement pump, but it is not available. You have to buy the whole pump assembly. I have contacted Delta, but have received no response yet. I guess we will be purchasing another brand as having the pump near the sink is a great idea and not having another bottle on our small counter is a plus! I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend this soap dispenser from Delta.

I made the mistake of buying this on looks alone... though, to my credit, the Delta description didn't say it was "cheaply made of poor quality and low durability" like they should have.
There are many more products that are less money and are much better, more durable quality.
Don't waste your time or money on this.

Love this product
We bought this during our kitchen remodel in July 2011. It's been a great product and I love the fact that I can refill from the top. No need to bend under the sink base cabinet. It has a refill funnel that can be purchased as an option. With or without the funnel, I think it is a great buy.

I purchased this soap dispenser in the Venetian Bronze finish. I love the brushed finish. The overall look is also very nice looking. I was, however, disappointed that the soap dispenser is all plastic. I really expected it to be metal. Also, it was very difficult to fill. It would not accept the liquid soap. When trying to fill it, the soap was just oozing all over. Watering down the soap helped quite a bit. I never had to do this with my previous soap dispenser.

Soap dispenser
What's to say? It dispenses soap. Easy top refill. Matches color of my faucet. I bought 2 of them. One for the dish soap, and one for hand soap to replace the old sprayer hole. I changed my faucet to the Delta Addison with pull out sprayer, so I no longer needed the separate sprayer. People come over and wonder why we have to dispensers and when I tell them they say that is a great idea.

So-so Dispenser
The soap dispenser is satisfactory and I was pleased with the way it looks. However, my one criticism is that it does not dispense liquid soap as easily as the dispenser I replaced.

Not stainless but good quality
I ordered this new soap dispenser expecting it to be stainless. It isn't, it's plastic, however it's very solid feeling and looks great. At least this one won't corrode.

A Nice design
I was surprised at how big it was. Has a nice "plumpness" about it that make it feel like quality. The finish is nice. The design is outstanding. Installation was only slightly tricky for my handy husband, but with someone holding it steady on top of the counter it went in fine. I bought it because of it's design and that it holds the most liquid soap of others. Fills easily from the top. To use, it takes a good push, straight down from the top. I just wish it put out more than the measly 1/4 tsp of soap per plunge. For washing hands that's good, but takes many more plunges for doing dishes. The one puzzle is that there's a small ring of soap left at it's base to clean up every now and then and I can't figure out why.

There's a loose black rubber gasket & also a white sealant attached the bottom of the base that affixes to the top side of the sink. The white seal seems to replace silicone. Does the black gasket still go above the sink, or below with the plastic nut?

The soap dispenser on our delta product has disintegrated and no longer pumps. Can I get a replacement part? I think the model number is RP50781 and is either stainless or brushed nickel. I can send a photo if that would help.

Is there the same style dispenser that is about 2 inches higher above the sink top?
Thank you for your question. All of our soap dispensers are flush with the countertop except for one model. Delta Faucet model # RP47280SS sits on top of the countertop.

I am trying to match a brushed nickel faucet with your soap dispenser. What is difference in color between Actic Stainless and just Stainless?
Is Stainless or Arctic Stainless what you consider to be equal to brushed nickel?
Thank you for your question. The difference between Artic Stainless and Stainless Steel is that Artic Stainless more closely matches today stainless steel appliances. It has a bluer tint to the finish and Stainless Steel has a gold tint to the finish.

I'm trying to replace an Opella plastic Kitchen Soap Dispenser - the hole in the sink will only allow a 7/8" threaded flange. Does Delta make a Kitchen Soap Dispenser that has a 7/8" Threaded Flange? If so, part number, stainless?

My model RP 50781 Soap dispenser pump sticks. It doesn’t return to the full pumping mode and therefore it doesn’t pump. What do I need to do to fix this problem? Thanks

Please try to soak the entire dispenser and pump in a solution of 50/50 white vinegar and water and flush it out with warm water.
