Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Leaky. Bottom rubber flange does not seal along threads. Instructions do not call for Teflon tape, pipe dope, or plumbers putty. I had to use all three and install 2 drains three times each. Torque that nut all you want, it will not compress that flange to seal against the threads. Not good for a higher end product.

Is the stopper itself meant to be wobbly in the hole or should it stay centered? I have a trinsic widespread with a pull stopper.

Asked by: themrmove
Hi themrmove, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP5651. The stopper can be installed with the stopper removable or locked in the drain. When installed to be removable, drop the stopper so that the bottom of the stopper goes on either side of the horizontal rod instead of on top of the horizontal rod. See here for more information: https://support.deltafaucet.com/s/article/Can-I-install-a-PPU-or-MPU-so-the-stopper-is-removable Please contact us directly for assistance or if you have any additional questions! Asked by: LiLo
Hello LiLo, Thank you for your question, I would be happy to help. Unfortunately this is not a pop up, this requires a lift rod. Hi! Is the white one glossy or matte? Thank you!

Asked by: rduran

Why does the flange (1) have holes in it? Installed but water leaks into holes then leaks around gasket. Tighten as much as can. Still leaks. Now I've got to take entire install out, get different brand and replumb.

Asked by: tv55
Hi tv55! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. The Delta RP5651 works for sinks with overflow holes. You may want to look for a drain assembly that works without overflow holes such as the 72172. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us again. Iḿ looking for a bathroom sink drain that will allow me to remove the ¨plunger" so I can snake the drain when it clogs with hair. How can I tell which ones are removable? The one I currently have does not come out and I can´t get in the drain well

Asked by: John Mark
Hi John! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. Unfortunately, the drain assemblies with lift rods are going to be attached in order to work properly. If you are needing to snake the drain, we recommend loosening the nut to detach the horizontal rod in order to remove the stopper.
