One more question for the pre-2006 1343, which screw-in handles will work with this model? Or will any screw-in handle work?

Asked by: Mdfenko
Thank you for your question, Mdfenko! I have attached a link below, that shows some handles that would be compatible with a pre-multichoice 1300/1400 series valve trim. Feel free to contact us directly, if you need further assistance. Best Regards, Benjamin

I would like to replace the faucet trim of my model 1343 faucet with an oil rubbed colored one.

What other trim kits would fit my faucet without any modifications?
Asked by: Barry
Hi Barry, Thank you for your question. Depending on how old your faucet is, you can replace your trim without replacing the valve. If your valve was installed after 2006, you will probably have the multi-choice valve in the wall. If this is the case, you can install any of our 1300/1400 or 1700 series trims in your wall. If it was installed prior to 2006, you can only use the 1300/1400 series trims but you will need to keep your old cartridge. The cartridge that comes with your new trim will not work with the old valve. Thanks. Jody

Question about the model and repairing

1. I want to check whether the attached photo is this model: Classic Monitor® Tub & Shower - Complete Rough and Trim 2. Also, when I close up all of the switches in shower, there are still water dripping on the bottom part. In this case, which part should I replace? 3. To replace it which size Allen wrench should I use? Thanks and have a great day.
Asked by: KSYI
Hi KSYI, Thank you for your question. Replacing the cartridge in your Classic Monitor Tub & Shower should stop the leak. The model 1343 was made with 2 different cartridges depending on the age of the faucet. If the faucet is older than 2006 and the upper portion on the cartridge is white the RP19804 will be the replacement cartridge. If the faucet is from February 2006 or newer and the upper portion of the cartridge is gray then the RP46074 is the correct cartridge. A 1/8" allen wrench should remove the handle set screw. Thanks, Dave

Have a T1343-TP unit dated 9/26/2002 5385K1 with RP16213 (WS). Would like to use a ceramic cartridge rather than rubber/spring/metal plate of current cartridge. Is this possible or do I need to replace the entire valve body??

Asked by: George
Hello George, Thank you for your question. If your unit was manufactured prior to March of "2006" you have an older 1300/1400 series valve body that uses the RP19804 cartridge which is white/blue in color and will not be able to make the change without replacing the rough in valve as well. The non ceramic RP74236 cartridge is equivalent to the newer 13/14 Series RP46074 cartridge assembly, which is gray/white. The newer cartridge only work with the new MultiChoice Universal rough-in valve body. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social if there is anything else you need. Do you have actual metal renovation face plates for the 13/14 pre-2006 set, or just the plastic ones? If just the plastic ones, is it possible to get just the plastic square diverter mounting bracket?

Asked by: HandyJane
Hello HandyJane, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The Delta Faucet RP29827 renovation cover plate is non-metallic, as metal is heavier, susceptible to corrosion, and retains heat. The part diagram for the 1343 tub and shower is available here Please reach out directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Best regards, Bryan
