Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Average Not impressed with the water flow. Pressure is not an issue, so it seems the unit slows water flow on its own. Installation instructions are extremely lame, since the manual covers three different models. It makes installing a guess since None of the three have the same parts list and the manual doesn’t specify which one is which. Delta’s customer service continues to be excellent!

Can you add a shower wand with this shower head shower system?

Hi Valued Customer, Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet 142822-SS. You would need a diverter added to operate the handheld, however, we do have another option. We would recommend using the R22000 rough valve, and the T27876-BLLHP. This will allow you to run the shower head and handheld separately and together. You would also need an elbow, to add the 55140-SS-PR I have included a link below to the rough, elbow, and trim. Please feel free to contact us directly for technical information at 800-345-3358. We recently had a Model #142822-SS installed. The water pressure is lower than we like Is there a way to increase the flow rate?

recently had this installed in new shower.  if you accidentally bump the handle while showering it makes an awful squeaking sound. functionally, it works fine.  are there other handles that fit this valve, e.g. circular that do not have a long handle?

I had this trim kit installed as part of bathroom model and now the water doesnt get quite as hot. Does this trim have a scald guard and is there a way to remove it without calling a plumber?
