Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful This is an absolutely beautiful fixture. The black looks elegant, beautiful, and high end. The installation was fine; not anything much different than installing any other bathtub and shower faucet. It is super light weight. I’m assuming this may be due to it not being fully metal. I’m a little worried about the plastic parts. I’m hoping the quality will still be what it would normally be for a Delta product. A plumber friend was a little skeptical and stated he would be concerned it might not last as long. That is the only reason I took off one star. We have been using this for about 3 weeks and so far so good.

Was lucky enough to get my hand on this and I am very pleased at the result. sleek design really fit into the modern farmhouse look we are going for. would defiantly recommend to a fried looking to upgrade their shower head based on looks and functionality.

I was a little hesitant well because they are black, and it freaked me out a little bit. I knew if I just let my husband put them in I was going to like it but OMG I LOVE them. It completely changed the entire look of the bathroom and made it so much more modern farmhouse. The color is the perfect Matte Black, they look so sleek. This is by far the best change we have made to our house yet. Let just need to change the doorknob and hinges and we will be all set!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I give it a 10/10 for looks and function. It has really dressed up my shower without having to remodel completely. The spray head works well with great pressure. I have thick hair so water pressure is imperative. It is also evenly distributed water flow which makes washing off much easier. The rubber holes on surrounding the water holes are also nice so it is very easy to clean any build up from the city water minerals. I definitely recommend!

This set looks great! They were easy to install, really made our additional bathroom look sophisticated, and worked perfectly. Lots of water comes out of the shower head so that's awesome!

It should be noted that the metal is very lightweight. It feels a little like plastic. I haven't had any issues at all with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from mixed feelings I was thrilled to install this in my bathroom. The matte black finish is GORGEOUS! However, it does scratch easily. I was also expecting all parts to be metal and they are not. They feel like cheap plastic. The install was also not as easy as it should have been. The water pressure is good but the shower head keeps turning and I keep having an issue where I can't use the shower head or faucet independently. When i try to use one, water still comes out of the other which is a huge waste and very inconvenient.

It looks so elegant and beautiful. I love the rain showerhead and it has made such a wonderful difference in how our bathroom looks. Added plus, it also works great, functional.

Seriously the only complaint I have is I like a shower head that has a hose/sprayer that can be removed to spray and rinse where I like and this isn’t capable of that. However it works nicely other that that and looks super too.

The shower is powerful and lets out a good stream of water. I love the black and sleek design. It was easy to clean after installation and I love the way the handles are so easy to use. My husband just recently installed this in the shower, and it looks beautiful against the white marble tile. So glad we were able to get this. It works great, too! can you just use the shower portion of this set or does the tub faucet have to be used as well? I want the Flynn Collection but I only have a shower not a tub.

Hi, Theresa! Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor 144768C-OB Tub and Shower Faucet can be used as a shower-only faucet. When installing the valve body in the wall, the bottom port must be plugged in order to use the unit as a shower only. Best Regards, Rosanna

I am using the tub spout for this model, on my garden tub (no shower). Is there a modification that I need to do to disable the shower diverter? Also, the plastic piece inside the spout nozzle… is that removable?

Can this be used it a fiberglass tub shower unit and is it self supporting like other delta faucets?

I was unaware that there was a flow restrictor on this valve. Had I known I would have not bought it. Can that be altered, there is NOT enough flow and it needs to be adjusted, how can I accomplish this?

Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. The maximum flow rate that the tub spout will have is determined by the Delta Faucet MultiChoice Universal Rough that is used and the PSI of the home. Model R10000-UNBX 40 PSI: 4.9 GPM 60 PSI: 6.0 GPM 80 PSI: 7.1 GPM Model R10000-UNWS 40 PSI: 4.8 GPM 60 PSI: 5.9 GPM 80 PSI: 6.8 GPM The showerhead (RP64859) has a flow rate of 1.75 GPM at 80 PSI. I have an existing shower.  Can I install the faucet trim without replacing the valve?  Is there an adapter I can use?

Hi Kevin, Thank you for contacting us at Delta Faucet! This Delta Faucet model 144768C-BL can be installed onto an existing R10000-UNBX rough-in valve. However, if your valve was installed prior to April of 2006 you must use your existing cartridge assembly and not the new one included in the trim kit.
