SpotShield technology helps your faucet stay cleaner, longer by resisting water spots and fingerprints
  • SpotShield technology with antimicrobial protection of the finish resists odor-causing microbial growth on the finish
  • Monitor pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe ± 3.6⁰ F (± 2.0⁰ C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure
  • Spray settings include: H2OKinetic spray, full body spray, full spray with massage, massaging spray, and pause
  • Pause feature reduces water to a trickle, giving you space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks while maintaining your temperature settings
  • Soft, rubber touch-clean spray holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up from the spray face of your shower head and hand shower with the touch of a finger
  • Optional tub spout cap installs as a shower only or as a bathtub/shower

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just ok The shower head works as expected. The color brushed nickel, though, is supposed to have a special finish that resists water spots and fingerprints. Unfortunately that is not the case with mine because it constantly looks dingy and dirty with water spots.

I really love that it has 5 different settings and the pause setting is the best, since you're able to stop it and get a drip when you turn it back on the temperature stays the same. We did have some issues in the beginning but reached out to Delta to get a replacement piece which arrived in 2 days and the issue was resolved. I do wish the pressure was a little better.

I have a Delta Model 144770-SP . How do you adjust the shower head for the three different sprays? Is there an owners manual?

Is there a trim kit only available? We're remodeling and contractor said we're just replacing the faucet and tub spout but not breaking through the tile to change any of the internal components. Or any complimentary brushed nickel trim kit you suggest.

Is the valve only trim available in the Portwood style?

can I buy just the showerhead and turning handle for just the shower? I do not need the tub spout.

Thank you for your inquiry, Marsha! The Delta Portwood Tub and Shower 144770-SP complete faucet is not sold as a shower only unit. However, you do not have to install the tub spout, as long as you remember to cap off the bottom port of the MultiChoice Universal Rough-In valve. Best regards, Tanya

I recently purchased this model and threw away the package for the spout which is the only place it speaks to the rough-in specs of the tub spout. How can I get access to the information again and why is it not in the manual?

Very interested in Portwood shower series. However I have a separate tub and a separate shower. As it is sold, I’d need to purchase two complete sets and trash 1 shower head and 1 sprout. Or could I order extra rough in valve and an extra handle assembly.
