Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good shower head. A little hard to install It's a really nice shower head! I don't have a ton of use for it right now and it's a little hard to install but over all I like it. I will say it's probably the prettiest shower head I've had for a hot minute

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sleek/lightweight It's great! Easy installation, I appreciate how light the shower head is while also being made of quality materials that so far (3 months) have been really easy to keep clean. It has a sleek look and I like that the showerhead detaches from the base and you can choose to have water come out of the base or shower head or both at the same time. It's a higher pressure than my old one so I have noticed that the hot water doesn't last as long (but that is due to having a small water heater) overall I would recommend if you are looking for a nice shower/bath setup

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much needed replacement I've been in the market for a new showerhead and this exceeds my expectations! I am enjoying the full spray of the leather showerhead and the ease of cleaning off hard water build up. While this is a complete kit, the tub part requires an invasive installation so I'll save the parts for when I remodel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality What a wonderful product. With kids and dogs the detachable spray head makes my life so much easier. I wish I would have gotten one a long time ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful finish & water pressure! I’ve been using this is my shower for about 2 weeks now & it has been the best replacement for my old shower head!! I only had one standard setting on my old one, and it felt too strong when I put my face underneath but the Delta showerhead has multiple settings so it feels so much nicer on my skin. I truly love it & recommend it for anyone looking to make a switch :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful set! This shower head, spout, and handle are gorgeously designed. I loved the brushed nickel color! I had some trouble installing the new handle and spout but it wasn’t due to issues with instructions. My showers needed a little extra prep work. The shower head was easy to install and I love it. Great way to update your bathroom!

Q&A

I have unthreaded copper pipe coming out of the wall for the tub spout. What adapter do I need to attach the spout without soldering anything?

Asked by: Jason B
Hello Jason B! Thank you for your question regarding Delta Faucet Model 144890-SP-I Monitor® 14 Series Tub & Shower With In2ition®! I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you! This tub spout is made to thread directly to a 1/2 inch pipe. So if your pipe doesn't have threads it wouldn't work with this Delta tub spout. Please reach out to us directly if you need further assistance. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We’re replacing a tub with a shower. Can this be used without the tub spout? I know many can just be capped off at the valve but I see nothing about that feature.

Asked by: Brightonian
Hello Valued Customer, Thank you so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! The tub spout does not have to be installed with this unit. Please reach out directly with further questions. Best Regards, Kayla

I bought this in matte black and would like to get a Delta tub trim kit (drain and overflow plate) in matte black. I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Does Delta make such a kit? Seems crazy not to offer it.

Asked by: LADB
Hi LADB, Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, we don't currently carry a bath waste assembly in matte black. I apologize for the inconvenience this causes. Our closest match would be RP693RB in Venetian bronze. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

Asked by: Mike

The handle popper off. It is not the revision that uses the set screw to hold it in place. The online manual does not seem to show this versio The handle or the mounting plate are undamaged. Is there a recommended procedure for reattaching the handle.

Asked by: Michael
Hi Michael, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 144890-I. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience you are experiencing with the handle. We are happy to help! Our 14 series shower trims use a handle with a set screw. The screw is located behind the handle lever. Our 17 series shower trims have a temperature knob or handle that may be snapped on. Some handles have snaps on the sides. Some have a snap on the rear. See page 10 of the instructions here: https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/107529%20Rev%20H.pdf Please reach out for further assistance or with any additional questions! The technical drawings indicate that the thermostatic/volume controls are to be installed 8" min - 18" max from tub spout. The 18" max is still a bit low from where I typically like to install them. Can it be installed greater than 18" from spout?

Asked by: DNolan
Hi DNolan, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 144890-I. If the tub spout is installed more than 18" away, it can cause shower rise where water also comes out of the showerhead when the tub spout is used. See here for more information: https://support.deltafaucet.com/s/article/Shower-Rise Please contact us directly if you have any additional questions! How do you adjust the rotational limit on the water temperature handle

Asked by: Sarah
Dear Sarah, Thank you for your question! I will be more than happy to help you! To adjust a 1400 series cartridge, please remove the handle and sleeve. Once these parts are off, you will see a brass stem with a white plastic piece surrounding the brass part. Pull this piece towards you and rotate counter clockwise for hotter water and clockwise for colder water. **Please keep in mind, rotating this could change the temperatures 4-16 degrees farenheight each notch.** Please refer to the link below on page 9, with a # 4 in the black box. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/107528%20Rev%20D.pdf Feel free to contact us directly, if you need further assistance. Best regards, Kyra
