Will this install and replace a 13/14 old delta monitor shower trime kit bathtub spout and shower head i have and was installed like 2001 and want to update to brushed nickle

Asked by: JonnyWaffle
Hi JonnyWaffle, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 144897-SP. To use this with a pre-2006 13/14 valve rough instead of the included valve rough, it would continue to use an RP19804 cartridge instead of the included cartridge. The top of the cartridges are the same, so the handle and trim fits, but the legs are different for different valves. The included RP51303 tub spout has an adapter for threaded, copper sweat, or slip on installation, or it should fit if there is already a metal Delta adapter on the pipe. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

We purchased this from Home Depot. The contractor who installed it said there was no set screw for the bathtub faucet handle. I went to home Depot to buy one with negative results. I am writing to request a set screw for the bathtub faucet handle.
