Is the belly-plate of the spout made of plastic or metal? Also, is the strainer sealed against the underside of the spout or no? (I have a rambunctious child who likes to put his hand up against the faucet, so I'd like something sealed around strainer.)

We have a two hole installation sink.  It sounds like this faucet can accommodate either 2 or 3 hole installation, but I just want to confirm.  We are novices and trying to find the right one.  Thanks.

We purchased our new construction Lombardo home in Feb 2024.  One of our bathroom sinks in leaking.  We have no paper work from the builder on any of our plumbing fixtures.  Is the faucet covered by your warenty?

What is the size of the round opening where the water comes out? It would be one of the two standard sizes: 15/16, or 13/16. We want to use a "pause lever" from an old 15/16 faucet, and it doesn't fit some of the new available faucets.
