All good but noisy
The faucet looks good and works fine except it is loud when the faucet is turned on. The sound of high-pitched water flow is much louder than any faucet I have ever used.

I just replaced 3, twenty yr. old faucets with this great choice. It updated my bathrooms immediately along with some new towels. I excecially liked the lifetime warranty that came along with my purchase. Most products made today are not made to last and have little or no warranty. Disappointing brushed nickel finish. It spots easily and shows fingerprints. Would not recommend it if you care about how it looks. Made a mistake getting this.

Do you have an equal faucet to the 2538-MPU-DST (chrome) without pop-up assembly?
Thank you for your question, SBDH! The Lahara centerset two handle lavatory faucet is currently only offered with a metal pop up drain assembly. All two handled lavatory faucets will lift rods on the back of them, so they will also come with pop-ups to connect the rods below the sink.

What is the difference between a Lahara 2538LF and 2538-MPU-DST?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 2538LF contains a 50/50 pop-up assembly and is constructed of low-lead brass. Delta Faucet model # 2538-MPU-DST contains a metal pop-up assembly and uses our Diamond Seal Technology to comply with the low-lead legislation laws in the market today.

The clearance from the center line of the 2538-DST to a back splash is shown as 1-1/8". The discontinued 2538 is shown as 2-1/2". It does not appear that the physical dimensions of the 2 faucets are any different. What is the correct dimension?

can the water restrictor be removed

Model 2538-MPU-DST does not contain a Flow Restrictor but does use a Cashe or "hidden" aerator which can be removed and swapped out for a higher flow rate if needed. We do not recommend leaving the aerator out of the spout as this is intended to help soften the stream and prevent splashing.

HOW DO CLEAN THE SCREEN IN THE SPOUT

Thank you for your question. The cached aerator in the Delta Lahara Lavatory 2538-RBMPU-DST can be removed with an aerator wrench designed specifically for the faucet. We recommend to remove the aerator and soak this in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mix for cleaning. Could you please tell me the part number for the wrench which should be used to remove the aerator from this faucet? The wrenches for our faucets were not left by the builder. I have purchased RP52217, which is too large, and will not work.

We recently purchased a house the the Lahara Bathroom Faucets and one the handles is a little loose. I have lots of hex wrenches in both US and Metric sizes but none seem to fit. What size are the set screws or how can I obtain the proper size?

I have a Lahara two handle centerset (large undermount 7008) and am told the low pressure may be from the cartridge needing to be replaced. WE have alreadty cleaned the aerator. What is the part number of the cartridge I need to roder?
