Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attractive faucet, but put silicone under it It’s an attractive faucet, and we like the high-rise spout. "Champagne bronze" is basically a brushed brass, goes well with other brass-colored fixtures. Not a spot-resistant finish, so the spots do show, but they’re easy to wipe off. Would be nice if there was a version of the pop-up drain without overflow holes. Put a bead of silicone or plumber’s putty around the perimeter under the faucet, even if the mounting surface is brand new (the instructions recommend this only if the surface is uneven – ignore that). If you don’t, water that splashes around the base of the faucet will seep under it and drip into the cabinet below, and rust the underside of the faucet in less than a year. This happened to me, but Delta honored the warranty and sent a replacement. The first person I spoke to at Delta refused to understand the issue and insisted on an ineffective solution, but a supervisor with installer experience got it immediately. Make sure to remove the aerator before turning the water on, to flush the manufacturing debris out. There’s more junk in there than you expect! Clean the aerator after a few days of use to get the last of the debris.

I have tightened the bonnet nuts slightly but no luck.Seems to be coming from hot side, but don't understand how water can get inside mounting shank

Within 5 years have replaced all diamond cartridges in faucets as a continued maintenance as they continually leak from stem. At $25-$35 a pop getting really discouraged. Will try Moen or another brand shortly!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor gasket design The faucet looks nice; however, I'm very disappointed in the design of the gasket. Its too small and allows water to get under the faucet and pool. It small enough that if its not perfectly centered, water that gets underneath dribs down below through the faucet holes in the countertop and onto the bathroom cabinets. Really disappointed to install and find water dripping underneath on my newly bathroom cabinets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish replacement and lighter weight Purchased two (2) of these faucets to replace older Delta faucets in his/her master bath. Like the design and the added height of the spout. Easy to install. Found the included and permanently attached pex hoses a little difficult to work in terms of fitting to shut-offs. Also noticed the faucet was extremely lightweight when compared to the smaller Delta faucets we were replacing. Obviously less/lighter material. Hope the replacements stand the test of time. Thank goodness for the Delta lifetime warranty!

Does Lahara model offer a pop-up style stopper instead of standard lift rod? Can I purchase pop-up stopper seperately - Models Number?

HOW DO CLEAN THE SCREEN IN THE SPOUT

Hello NONE, Thank you for your question. The cached aerator in the Delta Lahara Lavatory 2538-RBMPU-DST can be removed with an aerator wrench designed specifically for the faucet. We recommend to remove the aerator and soak this in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mix for cleaning. Aerator Wrench

Could you please tell me the part number for the wrench which should be used to remove the aerator from this faucet? The wrenches for our faucets were not left by the builder. I have purchased RP52217, which is too large, and will not work.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 2538-RBMPU-DST includes an aerator and wrench in the box. If it needs replaced, the wrench is not available as separate parts. The replacement is RP54977.

What is the difference between Lahara faucets: 2538-RBMPU-DST and 2538-RBTP-DST

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 2538-RBMPU-DST contains a metal pop-up assembly. Delta Faucet model # 2538-RBTP-DST has a pop-up assembly that is 50/50 metallic and non-metallic. It also has to be purchased in case packs of 3.
