Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice faucet overall Got this for a new vanity & counter top/sink for our bathroom. Looks good, the brushed nickel finish is nice. Was overall easy to install, but we did have to cut the faucet's pex lines shorter, then used shark bite brand fittings to join it to the new pex line system we are installing in our house for all water lines. Worked great, no leaks there. The issue we had was with the drain plug - no matter how we tried to adjust the hardware, it will not seal tight against the metal tailpipe lip around the sink drain, and so will not hold water in the sink when closed. So, will have to figure that out. And the metal tailpipe that came with the faucet had slight leaks around the top nut at the threads, and at the threaded connection below the pop-up drain assembly, no matter how we adjusted and reinstalled it. Some good quality silicone caulk solved those issues for the most part. The faucet itself looks great, has excellent water flow for being an 'efficient' faucet, and the handles are easy to adjust if needed. No loud noises during low flow like I see in other reviews. Full blast and low flow both sound the same to us. Hoping the 'diamond' technology will make this faucet last. Overall happy with purchase besides some installation issues with leaks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Faucet for the Price I bought three of these faucets for two bathroom renovations. They are beautiful faucets with great quality and a reasonable price. Installation was also quite easy. I didn't know in my installation whether or not I'd need to cut the plastic feed pipes to length, so I also ordered some of the special plastic ferrels just in case - but didn't need them because the faucet package already includes extra ferrels in case you need to cut the feed pipes (I didn't need to in my installation). One of the faucet handles was received with a small scratch on it, but both Faucets Direct & Delta were prompt and courteous about getting a replacement sent asap at no charge.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from loud, handles don't really adjust The water is running is very loud at any flow. It is particularly bad at low flow rates. We wanted to adjust the handles to keep them away from the wall. Not really possible. The off position can only be at 90degress from the original factory location. Looks terrible and doesn't really work.

I needed a bathroom faucet that went with the shiny gold and found Champagne. Perfect-we did not have to make a complete makeover. New cabinet knobs and the Delta Champagne faucet updates the master bathroom

I called Delta in Illinois and told them I had flushed out the line by removing the aerator as instructed. They said remove the handles, turn off the supplies, and remove the stops, and reopen the stops to remove any debris there. After doing this and reassembly and operation, there was no improvement in the cold water side. The warm water side is ok. What more can I do?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Elegant and noisy Very elegant. It is larger than some. I've used it a month and find its size an advantage. Hands fit under it better and the longer handles allow small temperature changes. Very feminine. Turn it on a little and it hisses loudly. Turn it on all the way and it becomes quiet. I called support and asked why and they said they would replace it. After I tell you what I went through to install it you will know sending it back was not an option. I asked what's wrong with it and they said it needs priming. What? I guess they should ship them full of water. "Watersense Certified" means it's supposed to use less water. NOT IF IT'S ON FULL ALL THE TIME. The tiny Tapered knob you pull up on to close the drain is hard to use if you have arthritis. I don't and still find it difficult especially with wet or soapy fingers. The installation was a nightmare. Took it out of the box and the pull up rod that passes through the faucet was blocked by a metal plate on the bottom. This plate was on backwards. The plate was screwed on with two Torx screws. I owned a machine shop. I can fix this. I had the proper screw driver and tried to reassemble it properly. It was very difficult to hold everything aligned properly and get those screws to start. Got her done and installed it. Those Pex supply lines are long, curved and stiff. You can't cut them because they have crimped on compression fitting installed. That made it a little difficult. Turned the water on and it sprayed under the sink on me and over the sink onto the rest of the bathroom. Take her off and disassemble it to find I had damaged an O-Ring. Lucky me. In my junk I found anther O-Ring that looked close. Reassemble and reinstall. Works great as long as you want it quiet for other people sleeping and turn it on full all the time. I called support and thought I would get the wonderful service I have received for other delta faucets. The representative said that neither the O-Ring or the flimsy gasket that goes under the faucet exists. HMMM. Would I recommend it. Sure if you check out the assembly right away and don't try to fix anything. Send back the poorly assembled ones. Maybe my family is too sensitive about hissing sounds in the bathroom. It' chrome.I don't know why my camera made it look bronze.

HOW DO CLEAN THE SCREEN IN THE SPOUT

Hello NONE, Thank you for your question. The cached aerator in the Delta Lahara Lavatory 2538-RBMPU-DST can be removed with an aerator wrench designed specifically for the faucet. We recommend to remove the aerator and soak this in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mix for cleaning. Aerator Wrench

Could you please tell me the part number for the wrench which should be used to remove the aerator from this faucet? The wrenches for our faucets were not left by the builder. I have purchased RP52217, which is too large, and will not work.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 2538-RBMPU-DST includes an aerator and wrench in the box. If it needs replaced, the wrench is not available as separate parts. The replacement is RP54977.

What is the difference between Lahara faucets: 2538-RBMPU-DST and 2538-RBTP-DST

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 2538-RBMPU-DST contains a metal pop-up assembly. Delta Faucet model # 2538-RBTP-DST has a pop-up assembly that is 50/50 metallic and non-metallic. It also has to be purchased in case packs of 3.

Delta faucet repair kit Model # RP3614 contains an Allen wrench that is too big.
