Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek modern faucet The champagne gold color definitely has a slight tan-pink tinge that will not perfectly match with gold or brass finish but it’s very pretty and understated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy Faucets of Excellent Quality I bought these Delta Lahara faucets to replace two failing American Standard (or, as I like to call that brand, American SubStandard) faucets in our master bath that had any number of issues. I checked in advance with my plumber, and he said these Delta faucets would be an excellent replacement. His installation of them seemed to go very smoothly; in fact his only problem was removing one of the old American Standard faucets that was so jammed that he had to cut it off. The sleek design of these Delta faucets is really nice. All the fixtures in my bathroom have a bright brass finish, and while the champagne bronze finish of these faucets is slightly different, it coordinates perfectly with them. The fact that Delta makes these faucets in the United States is another plus, and a factor I considered in buying them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not fix the problem We had a leaky faucet and contacted Delta. We received two parts, after much delay, and they were not what was needed. The old faucet was so badly corroded, we ended up replacing the entire faucet. The old faucet was less than 7 years old and should not have done this, in our opinion. We purchased the same faucet because it matched the accessories in the room and are hoping this one doesn’t have the same problem.

When I pull up the stopper handle, and even gently push down on the stopper itself, the sink will still slowly drain out and not hold water. Is there an adjustment I can make?

Asked by: Matthew
Thank you for your question, Matthew! Code permits that stoppers can leak no more than a gallon per hour with 6" of water in the bowl. The seal is provided by the weight of the water holding the rubber seal against the flange and the bowl must have at least 6" of water to provide adequate pressure. Please be sure this is not the issue occurring and if the leak persists, we would recommend checking that the required sealant was used on the flange which should be a uniform 1/4" round bead of sealant. Please contact us directly if you have questions or need further assistance. Best regards, Edward

Is there a red/blue marker on faucet handles to indicate hot and cold water.

Asked by: Jim
Hi Jim, Thank you for your question. The handles do not have a red and blue button. Best regards, Jon

If the lift rod pulls straight up, why does the spec sheet call for a minimum 2-1/2" clearance to backsplash?

I've seen this 2-1/2" minimum space requirement on other faucets, but that was because the lift rod on those faucets come out at an angle toward the backsplash. It looks like the lift rod on the Lahara pulls straight up (which several users have confirmed in various Q&A posts. I'd like to purchase the Lahara, but I'm not sure the maker of the cultured granite vanity top I have on order can accommodate the 2-1/2" requirement.
Asked by: bobertagain
Hi, Bobert! Thank you for your question. The backsplash clearance is to make sure you have enough room for both the installation above the sink and under the sink for this faucet. Best Regards, Rosanna

Water is dripping slowing when turned off. Is there a washer in the Lahara two handle widespread bathroom faucet that need to be replaced?

If a replacement washer is needed, please specify the part #.
Asked by: Ed
Hi Ed, Thank you for your question. To stop a drip in the model 3538-MPU-DST faucet you will want to change out the RP60400 valve assembly. Here is a link to the owners manual that includes the parts breakdown. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/3538-mpu-dst.html?document=mi&fromDetailArea=bath&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper Thanks, Dave

typical spacing?

It looks like the spacing of the handles can be varied. I will be installing a pair of these faucets on a double vanity in my new home. In case the plumber or builder asks me how far apart I want them: Is there a recommended distance apart? thanks-
Asked by: mr. flintstone
I installed ours at 8" center to center of the handles. Could have gone closer, could have gone further.
