I am curious if the temperature color ring that is shown in the photos is removable.  I think that would take away from the look of the faucet.

Are the brilliance stainless bathroom faucets and showers truly spot resistant like the spitshield brushed nickel?

We recommend to always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. I ordered this faucet from Lowe's.  I am curious because the color I received is not at all as pictured.  Is the faucet in fact a gold color as pictured or is is more muted like the one I received?

The 536-SSMP-MPU-DST has an escutchion that shows to be 6" long. The sink I have has 3 holes where the outer holes are 4" from the centerline, making a 6" escutchion too short to cover the holes at an 8" spread. Is there a larger escutchion available?

How to remove the aerator filter to clean?
