Thank you for your question, Chrome Doam! Model 559HA-DST can not be tightened to the point where it can not swivel. This model has a ceramic cartridge inside the handle, instead of a ball assembly. This model would include 3/8 inch PEX water supply lines coming directly from the faucet, that connect directly to the hot and cold water shut offs. The water lines included with the faucet are the only ones that can be used. Best Regards, Benjamin

Hi Kathleen W, Thank you for your question. Failure to properly clean and care for a faucet will cause damage that is not covered by the warranty. Although the finish is extremely durable it is possible to damage it. A comprehensive list of cleaners is impossible to recommend because of the variety of materials that are a part of our many models of faucets. What may be fine for a spout may damage a handle. To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. Stubborn hard water spots are best avoided by this daily regime. If extra measure is needed, a solution of 50% white vinegar (never Apple vinegar) could be used by wiping, spraying or soaking. Caution: Vinegar can permanently damage porous rock surfaces such as granite or limestone countertops. Use extreme care if such a surface is in the vicinity. To soak a faucet or part still on a faucet: 1. Mix white vinegar and tap water to a half and half proportion. 2. Put a rag or towel in the solution to soak it up. 3. Wrap the rag or towel around the part. 4. Let sit for up to an hour or so. 5. Use the rag or a clean, soft toothbrush to scrub the remaining hard water buildup. o Avoid harsh abrasives or polish o Avoid bleach-based cleaners o Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. o Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. o Because cleaning formulas can change without notice, Delta Faucet Company does not endorse any specific cleaner. https://www.deltafaucet.com/design-innovation/inspiredliving/how-to-clean-a-faucet Best regards, Tanya

This faucet could be used on a kitchen sink, however it differs from a beverage faucet in that it has both hot and cold supply lines rather than just one line. The connection on the end of the supply lines are 3/8" compression fittings, just like on our beverage faucets. However, our beverage faucets come with an option air gap for reverse osmosis filters. As a follow up to my earlier response to this question, I would like to suggest to Delta Faucet that they produce a retrofit kit for the kitchen faucet whereby a new handle is provided with the red/blue dot markings are reversed. Then the water supply lines can be crossed and the faucet will work the same as the bathroom faucet. Not sure why the faucets weren't designed alike for consistency.

For example, the 559HA-DST's metal components: The top cap is bronze or 36000 brass, the bonnet nut is 36000 brass, the undercover plate is either stainless steel or 260 brass,the escutcheon is zinc. We can't provide that level of detail every time. And specific amounts are considered proprietary (trade secret).
