How to clean
After years of use my Addison faucet has white build up under the handle of the bathroom faucet, probably from minerals in the water. What can I use to clean this? The finish-Champagne Bronze.

When using the touch20.xt feature, how is the temperature controlled?
The Touch20.XT feature turns on or off the flow of water. How does one control the temperature of the flowing water? Is there a scalding risk?

The temperature is controlled by the handle. You would adjust the handle to your desired temperature by either moving it to the left for hot, middle for warm and right for cold water. The unit does not include a scald guard feature.

Can the "on" time for touchless operation be adjusted?
The faucet turns off too quickly about 50% of the time, especially for tasks in which your hands aren't directly in front of the sensor for the entire duration, such as rinsing a toothbrush or a shaver. This also happens during hand washing if you hold your hands slightly down into the sink basin to avoid splashing water everywhere since the sink basin is (of course) below the sensor.
Is there a way to increase the timeout period?
Hi Clint, Thank you for your question. There is no adjustment for the run time for the model 592T-SS-DST faucet. If you touch the faucet on it will run for 1 minute before turning off automatically. If you are using the proximity function the faucet will turn on when you are with in 4" of the faucet and turn off when you move your hands outside that range.

2) I see it is 5 1/16" from the center of the faucet to the rim of the spigot, which is 6 1/4" above the countertop (DSP-L-592T-DTS Rev D doc)
Will the position of your hands that trigger the valve be in the same place as where the water will flow in the sink?
Meaning, I put my hands in position where the water flows out of the faucet to wash them, will that trigger the flow or do I need to move my hands closer first to trigger the flow?
3) To rinse a razor when shaving can I position the blade where the water will flow or do I have to move my hand in closer first? What I want is to place the blade where the water will flow to, rinse it, and then have the water shut off immediately after I move the razor blade from under the faucet.
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 592T-DST will turn on when your hands are within approximately 4 inches of the spout. That means 4 inches anywhere around the spout will trigger the water and it will stay on until you take them away. The water will only activate with the electricity from your hands so the razor would need to be somewhat in your hand.

I just installed two of these faucets and the indicator light is not working on one faucet. How do I fix this?
These are new faucets that I just purchased. The on/off function works as it is supposed to.
