Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality Issues + Design Flaw I ordered 3 of these faucets, and experiences issues with 2 of them. One was damaged despite Delta's supposed inspection and quality efforts. Another was missing a critical component. They're nice enough aesthetically and not bad to install; however, there is one significant design flaw which is that the rod that controls opens/closes the drain is touching the flexible hose assembly which mixes hot and cold water. For that reason, the movement is not very smooth, and I question the longevity of the flexible hose touching the metal rod. I would not recommend this due to the design flaw, quality issues, and poor Delta customer service experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, seemed like a slow fill. The faucet and handles are handsome and match our sink fixtures. Because the faucet and handles are on the near side of the tub, the handles appear to be backwards and you have to operate them from outside of the tub in a backwards way. Once in the tub, they appear correctly. The faucet shoots the water towards the center of the tub. Took a long time to fill the tub. Need to find out if there is anything I can do to increase the water flow.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Finish We purchased a new home not quite two years ago. Two of these faucets were installed in our master bath. On one the faucet shows some finish damage but it's obvious the finish is coming off the sink drain pop-up. One the other the sink drain pop-up is fine but the faucet and both handles are losing their finish. It's obvious the finish is gone and the underlying metal is starting to degrade as it is no longer smooth but bumpy.

I received it as advertised, on time and in excellent packing. Easy install. I am 72 years old and have never used any faucet other than Delta because of their warranty, service and reputation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I had a issue and Delta took care of it I did a large remodel 3 years ago and used all Delta fixtures in the the 3 bathrooms. They install without a hitch. 2 weeks ago I noticed water leaking from inside the vanity (custom made -"work of art' kind of vanity) so I was a little upset and called the Delta customer help line. I walked Amanda through my observations of the problem, where it was leaking from , what I tried and the like. She instructed me to try a couple of thing (which I had tried before I called) same result. My spout was leaking internally. She informed me that the spout was not a replacement item and that the entire faucet would have to be replaced. This replacement could only happen if the recommendations were tried and after a 24 hours period from when I made the 1st call. Well I waited the 24 hours and called first thing Monday Morning, talked to a gentleman named Wayne told him my story. He shipped me a new unit and I received it Friday, installed it Saturday and were back in business. I'm happy as a clam.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice fixture [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to replace a Delta faucet on an existing whirlpool tub with one with a different finish. I did not want to have to get a plumber to replace the valves, an expensive job. I also wanted matching sink faucets, shower fixtures, towel racks, etc. This limited my selection. This tub faucet replaced the original with little effort and looks much better than the old one. The style is OK, but there were others from Delta I liked better, but they did not offer a complete collection. Price was affordable, much better than the retail stores near me. Overall I am pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet -- wonderful look & feel We replaced some 20+ year faucets with this set and couldn't be more pleased! I purchased and installed two in our master bathroom. I was impressed with the installation process and the 'underneath fittings' On the underside of the faucets the bolt now has 2 phillips-head screws to tighten the faucet to the sink -- thank you, thank you that is the worst place to try to get a wrench to tighten things up! :-) The snap fittings between the faucets and the spout are a great improvement over our 20+ year prior fittings. We look forward to a long and useful faucet-life. PS: The cat loves the improved height of the spouts -- it makes it much easier to drink the 'drippy water' :-)

The design of these are simple but look great and easy to clean. Top that off with great Delta warranty it was a no brainier to purchase this faucet.

I have the Windemere two handled widespread bathroom faucet model number B3596LF-OB. The water barley comes out. Is this normal? Is something wrong with the faucet? This is the only faucet in my house that does this.

If you are not getting this flow rate, we recommend removing the aerator to check for mineral buildup as well as flushing the faucet of any further debris. Does the spout rotate left to right on the collar or should it be tight enough not to move?

I installed this faucet on a granite vanity countertop and the spout moves but the collar it rests on does not. Should it be tighter? I am afraid of cracking the top.

How to tighten loose handles?

Just installed Windemere Faucet B3596LF which has a smaller base than my old faucet. I can now see water damge to my marble that was covered by the wider base of the old faucet handles. Is there a wider base I can get to cover up the damage? Thanks.

Thank you for your question, Jackietools! Unfortunately we do not offer or manufacture a wider base that can be used with this model. Typically we recommend a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for hard water buildup; however, this may be too acidic and could result in damaging the marble permanently. Will this product work on a copper sink?

Bought 3 of these and now they tell me these drains are for porcelain sinks and not metal.

what valve/water hook-up materials do i need for this faucet?

Dear Val, Thank you for your inquiry! To install the Delta Windemere Lavatory B3596LF-OB faucet the Hook-Ups are the only thing NOT PROVIDED. You would need to determine which type of connection you will be making. I have this faucet on my jetted tub. The hot water valve has been a problem to replace. Can you tell me the part number for this valve so I can make sure I am using the right one? I fix it and a few uses later it starts leaking again.

Hello Fredro, Thank you for your question. If your faucet is leaking water underneath the hot and cold handles, then the RP24096 (brass) stem units will need to be replaced. If your faucet is just dripping water from the spout when the faucet is not in use, then the RP4993 seats and springs will need to be replaced under both handles. I was surprise the two lav. faucet did not come with a template for drilling holes in the granite. Where can I find a templete?

Unfortunately, we do not have a template for drilling the holes.
