Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product - Weird Stem issue I've only had the product less than a month, but I have installed 2 now. The installation went very easily, with no leaks. The complaint some have about the handle being tough to turn is related to the based of the handle, I think. It screws up and down and if you have it screwed up all the way, when you mount it, the handle is tough to turn. However, if you have it loosened a little bit, it's fine and mine do not wobble. Here is my only complaint, after a few weeks the handle no longer has a completely smooth glide on and off. This happened after 2-3 weeks on one of the hot handles and then within the first 7 turn-ons on the other hot handle. It hops forward consistently in the same part, like a geared setup missing a couple of teeth. I called Delta and they were very helpful and sent me new stems for one so far. After swapping out the stems it was working perfect again. Unfortunately a few days later a similar problem started on the cold handle. I haven't fixed the other one yet, waiting on new stems for that. I'm not sure the exact cause yet but there are no leaks, even if the problem remains I'm not that worried about it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor workmanship Flimsy construction. After 2 years the bronze color is peeling off the drain plunger and the drain assembly is defective. The drain stopper cover has to be removed to allow water to go down the drain. The cold water faucet handle is wobbly and can't be tightened

The hi arc design is beautiful and more functional than lower setting designs. It cleans easily. I bought the matching towel bars and fixtures, and with just painting the walls and replacing the fixtures with this Delta Windemere line, the bathroom update looks like I spent way more than I did. Love it.

The fixtures are accurate for this style home and have a very solid "feel" to them. This was important to me because after all the work going into the house we didn't want a cheap, flimsy feel to the faucet handles. Two of the faucet sets went on pedestal sinks and looked very period-appropriate.

The extension of the faucet is a good reach to fill the tub. It is a gorgeous finish and nice design. Very good pricing for this attractive, good quality package.

It feels a touch flimsy when turning the quarter-turn handles. I'm not impressed with the water output. The stream is very slim and doesn't compare to what my classic model faucet can output.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Needed to be replaced within six months Needed to be replaced within six months. The Windemere stainless steel faucets were installed as a part of a bathroom remodel. The bathroom is a guest bathroom that has been used very infrequently in the last six months. I was lucky enough to be putting away towels and realized that the towels were soaking wet. Water was just pouring out of the base of the faucet. It has caused some water damage to the new cupboards. My old Kohler faucets were 30 years old and never cause any problems. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this item.

The unit looks great in the tub and performs even better than we thought it would. Delivers a great flow of water to the tub plus gives the bathroom a much more elegant look than the other faucet ever could. This unit matches the two Windemere faucets that we put on out double sink vanity. Very happy with the product.

I agree with the other reviews, it required the brass valve insert instead of the plastic one. Thanks you for sending the brass at no charge. My wife likes the faucet. I am not sure what the brand of our old faucet was, but after many years of experience with Delta faucets we knew we had to go with Delta. It matches the rest of our fixtures perfectly and doesn't squeak like our old faucet did.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Seemed great at first, but didn't stay that way. I purchased three new Delta faucets over a year ago when we were updating our bathrooms, and one for my kitchen as well. The Windemere in oil rubbed bronze being one of them. The other two were Addison in venetian bronze and they are still looking great and working perfectly. The Windemere however is already looking like it needs replacement. The handles are not holding up and neither is the finish, especially down toward the bottom of each handle and now even the base of the faucet. I can highly recommend the Addison with the venetian bronze finish but not this Windemere in oil rubbed bronze.

I have the Windemere two handled widespread bathroom faucet model number B3596LF-OB. The water barley comes out. Is this normal? Is something wrong with the faucet? This is the only faucet in my house that does this.

Does the spout rotate left to right on the collar or should it be tight enough not to move?

I installed this faucet on a granite vanity countertop and the spout moves but the collar it rests on does not. Should it be tighter? I am afraid of cracking the top.

How to tighten loose handles?

Just installed Windemere Faucet B3596LF which has a smaller base than my old faucet. I can now see water damge to my marble that was covered by the wider base of the old faucet handles. Is there a wider base I can get to cover up the damage? Thanks.

Thank you for your question, Jackietools! Unfortunately we do not offer or manufacture a wider base that can be used with this model. Typically we recommend a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for hard water buildup; however, this may be too acidic and could result in damaging the marble permanently. Will this product work on a copper sink?

Bought 3 of these and now they tell me these drains are for porcelain sinks and not metal.

what valve/water hook-up materials do i need for this faucet?

Dear Val, Thank you for your inquiry! To install the Delta Windemere Lavatory B3596LF-OB faucet the Hook-Ups are the only thing NOT PROVIDED. You would need to determine which type of connection you will be making. I have this faucet on my jetted tub. The hot water valve has been a problem to replace. Can you tell me the part number for this valve so I can make sure I am using the right one? I fix it and a few uses later it starts leaking again.

Hello Fredro, Thank you for your question. If your faucet is leaking water underneath the hot and cold handles, then the RP24096 (brass) stem units will need to be replaced. If your faucet is just dripping water from the spout when the faucet is not in use, then the RP4993 seats and springs will need to be replaced under both handles. I was surprise the two lav. faucet did not come with a template for drilling holes in the granite. Where can I find a templete?
