Rated 3 out of 5 by from Low water pressure This Delta trim kit worked great with my previously installed valve. It's a brushed nickel color which looks absolutely beautiful and matches my bathroom. Could be a little thicker for strength. Would like to have more water pressure. I like the look but overall that's about all.

Did have a problem with a very slow leak out of the shower head - probably caused by debris from the plumbing redo. Delta is very responsive with send the replacement washers (or whatever they're called) to repair it. Great lifetime warranty!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clean bathroom remodel. easy to use. having trouble adjusting hot water stop ring. And it seems center philips head screw is too short and not enough treads are engaging to keep handle from wobbling a bit. Also installer had to file the plastic stop ring a little to get more hot water to flow. Anything wrong with that? One more thing is the water suppose to come out of the shower head after turning water off and for how long? Mine will flow some water for a few seconds then stop. Then after a few minutes a little more water will flow then stop. Then flow a little more then stop. Until eventually it will stop completely. This on off water flow takes about 2-5min to stop. This may or may not be normal due to the water still in the pipe after the valve, but why does it do this in cycles on-off and not all at once?

I do have a pre-2006 Delta valve and this trim kit only came with the cartridge for the post 2006 valve so still had to buy a separate cartridge.

MODEL#: BT13210-SS - I am wanting to replace a pre 2006 shower faucet Series 12/14....do you know if this model will take the RP-19804 Delta Cartridge so I do not have to change out the diverter?

Does the BT13210-SS come in just stainless steel and not brilliance stainless steel?

hello, I bought the BT13210-SS and the shower arm does not thread onto the female drop elbow, which is NPT. Is the shower arm not meant for NPT? It only goes on hand turn maybe one turn. Thank you.

Finish

I would like to get polished brass finish trim for my B114900 tub/shower faucet. I recently had to replace an older Delta tub/shower faucet with the B114900 (at the last minute due to faucet failure) and want the new faucet to match the remaining hardware in the bathroom. Is there a polished brass trim kit or other solution available?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # B114900 is only available in Chrome. If you would like to switch to the Polished Brass finish, you will need to switch out the valve to an R10000-UNBX and then pick a trim that matches what you would like.

Trying to determine if the plumber installed the shower control correctly?

We moved into a new house and the shower takes a very long time to get warm enough to use. I do not know exactly what type of shower control but it looks similar to the foundations monitor 13 series. The angle on the markings between the full off and the full hot is about 135 degrees but handle only rotates 90 degrees. I think this is why it takes so long to get warm but the plumber says that is they way they are made. He says they don't rotate the full 135 degrees even though the marking shows differently. His solution is to turn the water heater up to almost the highest temperature. I am concerned that someone will get scalded if I do that. Is the plumber correct or just trying to get out of fixing the problem?

Hi David, Thank you for your question. The movement on the handle of a 13 series tub/shower faucet is approximately 90 degrees. The cartridge is equipped with a rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max hot water temperature. If the faucet is a long distance away from the waterheater it will take the hot water longer to get to the faucet. Thanks, Dave

Hello, Can I use a R10000-UNBX or a R10000-UNBXHF with a BT13210-SS ? Will both R10000-UNBX and R10000-UNBXHF use the same cartridge? Also how do I know if I need a extension kit ?

The difference between the Brushed Nickel and the Stainless Steel of the Delta FOUNDATIONS® Monitor® 13 Series Shower Trim MODEL#: BT13210-SS is that the Brushed Nickel has a slight gold tint to it and the Stainless Steel is more grey in color.
