Can I cap off the left output of my R11000 rough in valve, use the top and right outputs. If so, can this trim allow me to have the handle point at the left dot on the trim for the top output (and point at the top dot for the right output)?

Hello DIYNot, Thank you for your question. The rough-in valve installed behind the Delta Vero Diverter Trim T11853-SS has to have the right port plugged when using one extra feature to you shower combination. The diverter will not function properly if you plug the left port. Best regards, Tanya

Please let me know what it means 3-Setting 2-Port Diverter Trim and whether I will be able to use it as a switch between the shower and the shower handle. Thanks

Thank you for your question, Mike! A 3-Setting 2-Port Diverter Trim allows you to divert water between a shower head and another product such as a body spray/jet or hand shower. A standard shower trim will allow water to either a tub spout or the shower head on its own, but by installing this trim with a diverter rough-in valve above the mixing valve, you can then switch between the shower head, another shower product or use both simultaneously. If you only have a tub spout and/or shower head, you will not need a diverter trim. Best regards, Edward

Is this everything I need

First, the amount of pieces I need to buy is very confusing. I want the rainshoer, the handheld and ability to use them alone or together. Is this everything I need? T17T253-SS R10000-UNBX 55530-SS R11000 T11853

Where can I get the little plastic pieces (it says #2) to cover the screw holes for T11853-SS faucet handles

Can you explain to me what is the difference between 2 port and 3 port and non-shared and shared?

Hi EZPASS, Thanks for your question! A 2-Port diverter will allow you to divert between two shower components and a 3-Port diverter will divert between three components. A non-shared diverter will allow you to run the showering components individually. A shared diverter will allow you to run the showering components individually or together (up to two at once).
