Rated 5 out of 5 by from Read the instructions! It's a nice solid piece. However, my plumber didn't read the instructions which obviously would have helped. If you have only 2 items like a shower head and handheld, then make sure to cap the LEFT opening!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from diverter valve a must have to control hand shower, rain shower, tub fill, or any combination of them! Make sure to get the 6 position valve NOT the 3 position valve IF using a hand shower, rain shower and tub fill or adding more body jet sprays The 3 way diverter valve which I bought does only 2 things!!!! I exchanged it locally for a 6 way and all worked fine (the 6 way you can turn it and feel the cartrige positions ) and the trim will have 6 positions on it NOT 3!

How many gallons per minute can flow through the multi valve?

I am considering this diverter. I want to be able to run the shower head and hand shower independently, and in unison. Will this diverter work?

which cartridge to operate 2 showerheads at once?

We currently have the 3-way cartridge that came with the diverter. Currently, the 3 settings we have are: the first shower head operates, the second shower head operates, both showerheads are off. Is there a way to have the last setting be for both shower heads to operate? Is the 6-way cartridge (#RP51919) compatible with our 3 setting diverter?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T11853 is a 2-port 3-setting diverter unless the cartridge was changed to the non-shared cartridge, model # RP71717. You can get a replacment cartridge model # RP51918 which is the one for the is model. Delta Faucet model # RP51919 is the 6 setting cartridge. It will also work in your application but you will have several position that will turn everything off.

i have a d57530 slidebar handshower and a rainshower.do i need parts dr10000unws,dr11000 anddt11853 to operate the showers together or separately ?

Hi John, Thank you for your question! The R11000 and T11853 will allow you to divert between the hand shower and shower head. The R10000 valve will work with a T14, T17, or T17T trim to control the water flow and temperature. Thanks, Jon

I have a Vero 3 setting diverter installed, one head can work along and two off, then two work and one off, then three at the same time, is this Ok?

Hi None, Thank you for your question. Normally with 3 separate showerheads you would want to use the 6 setting diverter so that all the heads could be used individually, 2 at a time, or all 3 at once. Your current set up will not affect how the unit functions. You can switch out the 3 function cartridge to the 6 function cartridge RP51919 if you want more individual control of the showerheads. Dear TH, Thank you for your question. To install the Delta Vero 3-Setting 2-Port Diverter Trim T11853, you will need the Rough In R11000 Valve for it. You will also need the main Rough In R10000-UNBXHF valve and Vero Trim kit of your choice. Lastly, the wall handshower and elbow, of your choice style and finish. Best regards, Tanya
