Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great materials, mounting plate tough to get right The external plate and the handle are very solid material and have a good looking finish. My only complaint is that the plate underneath used to mount to the mixing valve uses two tabs that you spin the outer plate to hook into. The problem is that the adjustment screws for the mixing valve get in the way when you tighten the mounting plate all the way. This doesn't make sense, as it is obviously a Delta mixing valve so they should know that the adjustment screws stick out almost out of the wall. I found that i can get it to work by not tightening the mounting plate all the way, but then the face plate can move a little if you push it. I am hoping that the caulk will firmly hold it in place.

what is the maximine working pressure for a delta monitor shower valve

Is this trim all metal including the cover plate (i.e., no plastic)?
