I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help! The handle will extend about 3". The exact measurement will depend on the depth the valve rough is installed. Hello SCastro, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company. I am sorry to hear that your Ara® Monitor® 14 Series Valve Only Trim In Chrome MODEL#: T14067 is leaking, which can be very frustrating. I am so glad that you contacted us, so we can get this taken care of for you! Leaking can be caused by debris, and we would recommend flushing. I have included the flushing instructions below. To flush the open valve without the cartridge, please follow the directions below. 1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either a 1/8" or 3/32" Allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size Allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off. * Note. If there is calcium build-up at the base of the handle, it may be necessary to soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Simply saturate the rag with the 50/50 solution, wrap it around the handle base and place a plastic bag over it. I would recommend do this the night before removing the handle. 2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve. 3) Then you will need to remove the bonnet nut. The bonnet nut is the threaded ring at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. You will need a pipe wrench or a pair of channel locks. 4) After removing the bonnet nut, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. You may need a small, skinny bladed screwdriver to wedge in between the lip of the cartridge and the valve to help start it out. 5) Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body. 6) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out, much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds. 7) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. The Tub/Shower should then have a good flow. If it does not, the cartridge will need to be replaced. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Hi Nate, Thank you for your question. And I am happy to help. We no longer have the link to show how to make the shower hotter. But I can explain it to you. You would remove the handle and on the end of the cartridge that is sticking out there is the rotational limit stop. You would pull this towards you turn it to the left and let is go. Each little notch that you will feel as you turn it. Each notch will make your shower about 6° hotter. Thanks, Beverly

It will cause the handle to reach out a little farther. More of the finished, black trim sleeve will be visible.
