Rated 1 out of 5 by from Classy look but poor performance We purchased the Ashlyn tub trim package for our new bathroom because I wanted something with a squared shape to match other fixtures. After installation, however, we realized that the water flow rate was minimal at best. This tub spout is plastic, and has a plastic inner tube that restricts the water flow to only 1.75 gpm, meaning it would take almost 20 minutes to get enough water to bathe in! We replaced the tub spout with Signature Hardware Greyfield spout, which has a 17 gpm flow rate, and it made a huge difference. I wish I had known what the Ashlyn's gpm was before buying. Do not recommend.

I thought there was something wrong this bath spout, but after reading the customer comments I now understand that the diverter is fake! PLEASE note, it does not say that on your website!!!  https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/T14164#qaTab.

Stamped sheet metal externals, held together by plastic internal components. Pipe attachment is brass, which screws onto nylon threads inside the faucet.

Looking for another Tub Only Spout for Copper Sweat Install

Hello, We installed the Ashlyn Monitor Tub Spout but have decided that the spout is a little too clunky for our bathroom. We'd like something slightly more steamlined. We already sweated on the piece for the copper sweat install, so would like to know what other tub only spouts use that install method, so we do not have to remove that piece, we'd just like to change out the spout. Thanks!

Hi Lucas, Thank you for your question! Below is a link to our Stainless Steel non-diverter tub spout selection. Most tub spouts will work, but to make sure, click "View Product Details". There you will find the "Product Features and Benefits" tab. Does the tub spout on this model allow for threaded tightening? (1 1/8" to 1 1/4" approximate thread diameter)

The tub spout that comes with the Delta Ashlyn Tub Trim T14164 model uses the RP12307 Adapter, which is designed to be soldered to 1/2" copper pipe or threaded onto a 1/2" IPS nipple. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP12307 Best regards, Tanya

I have a 58680-RB25 & a T17076-RB w/R10000-UNWS in my tub/shower setup. I want to avoid getting a tub spout w/pullup diverter. Can I get a non-diverter spout & add this valve to serve as the diverter for my setup?

Hi Poppa, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14164-RB. This trim can be used as a faucet to mix the hot and cold water for the included tub spout. This would be a separate control from the T17076-RB used for the showerhead. We do also carry diverter trims to direct water to different features after the water is mixed in the valve. But we don't recommend installing a tub spout to a diverter for a showerhead because the water flow will be reduced and it will take longer to fill a tub.
