Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible water flow I bought two shower system for two of my bathroom updates. One in Matte black (Delta pivotal) and one in Brilliance Stainless (Delta Ara Monitoer 14) due to lack of availability of Delta pivotal in brilliance stainless. Delta Ara Monitor has terrible water flow. The water splashing so hard that frameless door can not keep it contained within the shower area. The head is not adjustable enough. Overall I am very unsatisfied with it and may have to change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant, easy install Upgrade your bathroom shower head to a soothing rainfall. This was easy to install and instantly gave my shower a face lift. Simple, easy to follow instructions included. Elegant and stylish. Love the soothing, gentle rainfall it produces. I was skeptical it would generate enough water or pressure to clean my long hair but I was wrong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The pop my bathroom needed Wow! This was the final pop my bathroom needed. I highly recommend getting a professional to install It if you’re not familiar with pumping. It wasn’t easy to install, but it was definitely worth it. It took my husband about an hr to install it on his own. I should also note that he’s not a professional plumber, but has experience with plumbing so most was pretty simple for him. I love how durable it us. You can feel and see the quality of the product right when you put it in your hands. If feels like it can we stand anything and last a lifetime. This is overall a great quality product and I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek Had this shower faucet and showerhead installed During our bathroom renovation this past month and it looks so modern and sleek and is also very functional and easy to use. The faucet and showerhead both operate smoothly. In terms of installation its a pretty easy process but we had a plumber go ahead and install these as a part of the reno so the whole process went pretty smooth. Definitely recommend this.

Q&A

List Price is $217.20. Why does it include the rough cost when I'm looking up a trim?

Asked by: Troy
Hi, Troy! Thank you for your question. The list price for the T14267 is $217.20. The rough valve price is shown so if a customer needs the rough valve, they know it is an added price and the valve is separate from the trim price. Best Regards, Rosanna

We have the T14267 Ara control valve. The water on hot is not hot enough. We have the same valve control in another bathroom and the temperature of the water is fine. how do I fix the control valve to give us more hot water?.

Asked by: Steve
Hi Steve, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! You shouldn't need to shut your water off but keep in mind it is still possible for the water to turn on if the stem is rotated. Please gather 1/8" allen wrench. 1. Remove your handle with your 1/8" allen wrench. The set screw should be under the lever of the handle. 2. Pull the sleeve assembly off of the valve. This is the cylindrical part behind your handle that hides the valve body. 3. You will see a brass stem and a plastic white piece on the tip of the cartridge. The white piece has notches on it to grip it more easily. 4. Pull the white piece towards you and rotate counter-clockwise for hotter water. *Please note there is a limit of how far this will rotate, if you rotate to the hottest setting it will be the same temperature as your water heater. This is not recommended as it can cause scalding. Please also note that each notch you rotate to can range anywhere between 4 and 16 degrees Fahrenheit.* Now you can install your sleeve and your handle onto your valve. Turn your water on and see if this is your desired temperature. If it is, tighten the set screw or the screw, and the temperature adjustment on the cartridge is done! We appreciate your inquiry. Please reach out directly if you have further questions! Best Regards, Kyra Digital Engagement Specialist

I have a Delta ARA handle paired with a Delta Rain showerhead. The problem is that the shower head continues to drip constantly after being turned off. Is there a replacement valve that I need to fix the problem?

Asked by: Mineral deposit removal
Hi Ken, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14267. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! A drip is typically caused by wear or damage to the rubber seats. RP4993 seats and springs can be replaced in the legs of the cartridge, or the RP46074 cartridge can be replaced. Is any part of this T14267 in chrome shower trim kit made of plastic? Also, how is it to be cleaned (the spray holes)?

Asked by: Suzi
Hello Suzi, Thank you for your question! We apologize that this information was not readily available and will be happy to help you. The Delta Faucet Ara® Monitor® 14 Series H2Okinetic® Shower Trim In Chrome MODEL#: T14267 is made of several materials, and includes metallic and non-metallic parts. Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer. We also have a Lifetime Limited Warranty on all parts and finish. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to the build-up of mineral deposits, and we recommend blotting the faucet dry after use to prevent this from happening. However, water spots and fingerprints can be easily cleaned by wiping the finish with a damp cloth. If additional cleaning is needed, we recommend using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We look forward to continuing to serve you. Please feel free to contact us back for further assistance. Best Regards, Kelley

How do I get more pressure and hotter water? I'm taking a luke warm shower with no water pressure.

Asked by: Wyatt
Hello Wyatt, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available for our Delta Faucet ARA® Ara® Monitor® 14 Series H2Okinetic® Shower Trim In Matte Black MODEL#: T14267-BL, and I am happy to help you! I have attached a link to show how to adjust the RLS on our Delta shower cartridges. This will provide the option of hotter water, also we recommend making sure the water heater temperature is set to 120 or lower. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=By5b7uazCqM Also, low flow is caused by a blockage or debris, we would recommend flushing the shower unit to increase the flow. To flush the open valve without the cartridge, please follow the directions below. 1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either a 1/8" or 3/32" Allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size Allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off. * Note. If there is calcium build-up at the base of the handle, it may be necessary to soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Simply saturate the rag with the 50/50 solution, wrap it around the handle base and place a plastic bag over it. I would recommend do this the night before removing the handle. 2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve. 3) Then you will need to remove the bonnet nut. The bonnet nut is the threaded ring at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. You will need a pipe wrench or a pair of channel locks. 4) After removing the bonnet nut, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. You may need a small, skinny bladed screwdriver to wedge in between the lip of the cartridge and the valve to help start it out. 5) Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body. 6) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds. 7) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. The Tub/Shower should then have a good flow. If it does not, the cartridge will need to be replaced. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

What is the difference between ARA® Monitor® 14 Series H2Okinetic® Shower Trim in Matte Black MODEL#: T14267-BL And the 17 series?

Asked by: Rozy
Hi Rozy, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! The difference between our T14 and our T17 series shower valves is listed below. T14 - one single handle that will adjust for temperature and volume. T17 - Two handles on the same valve. The large handle will adjust for volume and the small handle will adjust for temperature. It is normal for the temperature to turn with the volume so you can keep the same temperature as previously used. We appreciate your inquiry. Please reach out directly if you have further questions!
