Hi Jelbros, Thank you for your question. You will want to use the R10000-UNBX rough in to work with the T14453-SS. You will want the R11000 rough in to go with the T11853-SS diverter trim. The diverter will allow you to operate the fixed showerhead only, the slidebar handheld showerhead only, or use both at the same time. Thanks, Dave

If you are not getting hot enough water from your Delta Vero Tub and Shower T14453-SS faucet, you would need to adjust the rotational limit stop on the top of your RP46074 cartridge. Thank you for your question, kona513! The tub spout included with this model can be either sweat onto ½" C.W.T (copper) or thread onto ½" IPS (iron pipe) using the included RP12307 adapter assembly. The slip on adapter, part number RP33794 can be purchased and used instead. Thank you for your question, Adi. The Delta Faucet model #58470 is compatible with any shower system and is easy to install. For the type of installation you are looking for in your custom shower there are two options: 1) The Shower unit with model #58470 . 2) The hand shower unit purchased in addition to Delta Faucet model #T14453. With this option, a diverter valve assembly would also be required to complete installation (Delta part #R1100). The diverter assembly would allow you to use the hand shower separately or in conjunction with the shower head. 1)To build the Vero 14 series tub and shower system here are the model numbers we recommend you purchase to complete the shower with the In2ition shower head: R10000-UNBX- Universal Rough-in valve T14053- Vero valve only Trim 58470- In2ition shower head RP40593- shower arm RP51034- shower flange RP53419- tub spout *please note that while this option would require more pieces to be ordered individually, the in2uition shower head would allow you to have less plumbing installation behind the wall. 2) To build the Vero 14 series tub shower system with a diverter assembly. Hello Crprz03, Thank you for your question! I apologize that you are experiencing low pressure from the tub spout on your Delta model T14453-CZ, and we will be happy to help today. We recommend leaving the plastic piece inside of the tub spout. The most common cause of a low flow rate is debris. The best way to clear any debris is to flush the supply lines. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should. If it does not, you can try soaking the cartridge in white vinegar for about 15-30 minutes. You can also remove the tub spout and flush through the pipe and then reinstall the tub spout.
