Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful collection! I love the color, it’s subtle and a nice contrast with the white tile. The bath spout is plastic, I would have preferred metal for easier cleaning of hard water spots. Recommend wiping down daily with a micro fiber cloth.

Is the plastic piece inside the spout hole removable at all? Seems like it’s killing the water pressure.

Hello Crprz03, Thank you for your question! I apologize that you are experiencing low pressure from the tub spout on your Delta model T14453-CZ, and we will be happy to help today. We recommend leaving the plastic piece inside of the tub spout. The most common cause of a low flow rate is debris. The best way to clear any debris is to flush the supply lines. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should. If it does not, you can try soaking the cartridge in white vinegar for about 15-30 minutes. You can also remove the tub spout and flush through the pipe and then reinstall the tub spout. Can I purchase this although my tub and shower are separate? I was thinking I could put the tub spout in its place over the tub and order an additional valve for the tub. Please advise.
