Rated 1 out of 5 by Ryan from Lots of plastic and the worst functionality I have experienced yet Installed great but the temperature controller on both of ours is not only made of cheap plastic but it grinds and moves the volume control because the movement is so rigid. This is a two handed control a small child cannot do because it is so stiff. Happy to pay return shipping and get something else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by RM from Good looking but it is either cold or scalding hot - no inbetween The unit looks great, but there is no ability to adjust the temperature. We initially had only hot or scalding options and adjusted the disk internally back. After doing so we only get freezing with no heat or very hot. What resources do you have to help to this regard as its frustrating that what seems to be a solid unit is not working for our two applications in separate bathrooms. The work was done with a plumber who has installed before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great functioning valve and is easy to install however the finish is easily scratched revealing a different color underneath the black top coat. I would still recommend this product, but suggest a different color.

Just turn it on and it is set to the temperature from the previous shower. So far, the temperature has been accurate. I also purchased two sink faucets in the stainless and I do find that they look very spotty from the water. Will need wipe them down often to keep them looking good.

It has been in service for 3 months along with a waterfall shower head and has performed well. The materials (some plastic) and chrome finish are acceptable, although my control set is mounted away from the shower spray, which should help with durability. I really like that the water volume and temperature are individually adjustable.

If I pair a Trinsic Monitor Series 17 trim/cartridge kit with a R10000-PXWS rough valve body and a 2.5 gpm shower head, will the Delta valve restrict flow-rate to the shower head to 1.75 gpm or will I be able to get 2.5 gpm?

Hello Tovodeverett, Thank you for your question. The Delta Multichoice Universal Rough-In R10000-PXWS valve will not restrict the flow rate of a 2.5 GPM shower head. Best regards, Tanya

Thank you for your question, Ricardo! The trim can be replaced if you have a MultiChoice R10000 Valve. If it was installed on an existing 1400 Series valve, the 17 Series trim will not work. MultiChoice Valves will use a gray cartridge and should have the letters "MC" and the word "UP" on the top of the valve, behind the bonnet nut. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R10000-UNBX Best regards, Jon

What is the preferred valve to use with a T17059 trinsic valve trim. It will be for shower only, no tub, and we will be using the Emerge 26” shower column. We are wanting to replace our old valve . Thanks!

Thank you for your question, Carole! Model T17059 is intended to be used with any of the Universal MultiChoice valves, however, for a shower-only installation we would recommend the R10000-UNBXHF (High Flow) which will come pre-fabricated with a capped tub spout for the highest possible GPM. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R10000-UNBXHF Best regards, Edward

I have a divertor to the Trinsic shower valve but I don't have a mixing valve and I can't find it on this page Can you tell me the model # to it ?

Thank you for your question, Eddie! Model T17059-RB will work with any of our MultiChoice Universal rough-in valves such as the R10000-UNBX. This will mix the water to the desired temperature.
