With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® pressure-balance valves use Monitor® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. Chrome has rapidly become one of the most popular finishes across décor styles in the bath thanks to its stunning gloss and innate versatility. Paired with crisp lines and bright whites, it creates a bold, modern contrast, but it works equally well with vintage styles and traditional spaces to convey a hint of nostalgia. Delta WaterSense labeled faucets, showers and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance.
  • Control volume and water temperature independently with two separate handles for more refined control of your shower experience
  • Monitor® pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe ±3° F (±1.6° C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure
  • Spray settings include: Full Body spray, Massaging spray, Drenching spray
  • Soft, rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up from the spray face of your shower head and hand shower with the touch of a finger
  • Trim kit only, must order MultiChoice® Universal Valve separately to complete the unit
  • ADA Compliant
  • WaterSense® labeled shower heads use at least 20% less water than the industry standard without compromising performance

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Leaky shower head Until yesterday, I really liked this shower head with the 3 flow adjustments and the temperature control setting. We’ve had this installed for about 20 months, and the shower head started dripping when the shower is off. This shouldn’t happen after such a short period of time. Please help.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK The flange that goes on the shower wall and surrounds the controls is plastic, which looks OK but it's plastic. The shower head is not as powerful as the cheap one I replaced. It is very hard to adjust the settings, and none are very powerful. Also the bar that adjusts the volume is attached to the bar that adjusts the temp. When you rotate the bar for the volume, you also end up moving the temp, which defeats the purpose.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks after off for a time Shower head has started leaking after being off for several house. The valve is just 3 years old. Haven’t contacted Delta yet. Rating could change depending on the repair needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and Functional! This product was a replacement for a shower head I had installed about 15 years ago. Yes, Delta does stand behind the lifetime warranty. The shower head is much larger, and the water pressure much improved. I am completely satisfied with this product and Delta.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Function, Tacky Appearance Landlord's plumber installed this. Pressure from shower head is poor, the only setting that actually sprays is the fine spray in the outer ring, and it's so widely spaced it doesn't wet hair or rinse soap from skin. "Drenching" spray just spills straight down. No previous pressure problems with old set. Two hands required to change settings on shower head without loosening the whole thing, and it's too big for small hands to grip. Two hands also required to adjust temperature controls without turning off water. Less functional than either single-handle controls or 2-3 knob controls. Gaudy and ostentatious. In combination with chrome plate covering holes from previous 3-knob system, it looks like a wrestler's championship belt.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from temperature handle is made of cheap metal material that keeps breaking off!!!!! I've had this shower head and the temperature handle keeps breaking off. Now, I can't find a replacement part for this...even on the deltafaucet website ! The only way to get it is to buy the whole thing! Avoid!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Liberty Bell Ordered unit that showed smaller showerhead in pic. Receive one that's about 5" in diameter. Had two, the other in larger bath, to much of a bother to send back so used both to be done with it. Very out of scale with corner shower stall, heavy on additional swivel needed to get more sweep causing it too droop and after shower is turned off it drips a lot of water on you when your trying to towel off in stall.

innovations 2 handle models T2730-LHP for tub and shower no longer exist. i need parts list for these.

are they the same as the sink 2 handle models 3530-24? seems like the parts for tub/shower would be larger. Your rep just told me they are the same and i wish to confirm. He gave me valve part as RP1740 and seats and springs as RP4993.
Asked by: jan
Thank you for your questions. Delta Faucet model # T2730-LHP is a roman tub faucet. The innovations handles that we recommend for this faucet are Delta Faucet part # H64 and A64. They are bigger than the handles for the lavatory faucets.

Hi. My delta 1700 series monitor is loose. How do I tighten the temperature control button. Thanks.

Asked by: Jim
Hi, Jim! Thank you for your question. There is a screw that can be tightened for your temperature knob handle. To get to this screw, you may pull the temperature knob cover straight off. This will expose the screw and you should be able to tighten the screw with a Philips screw driver. Best Regards, Rosanna

Volume and Temperature controls correct?

Builder just installed Classic with separate volume and temperature controls in new shower. When volume control handle is turned, temperature control turns with it. If I hold volume control steady with one hand, I can turn temperature control separately with the other hand. Is this how it's suppose to work? I thought they moved independently so that you shut the shower off, but the temperature control stays in the same place. I really need to see a video of this working because the written info doesn't say anything about how they function, just how it's installed. Thank you.
Asked by: Suz
Hi Suz, Thank you for your question. Your faucet is functioning properly. The temperature handle will also move when the volume control is moved. Once you have the temperature knob set in the desired position you can turn the volume control off and although the temperature knob moves with it when the handle is turned back on your temperature setting should return as well. Thanks, Dave

Can you purchase this without a shower head?

I have a shower head that I like, but I'd like to upgrade the other parts of my shower (controls, handle, etc.). Is it possible to buy this unit without a shower head? Are the various parts that make up this item available separately? If not, is the shower arm a standard design so that I can attach any shower head to it? Thanks!
Asked by: Jay
Hi Jay, Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, this unit is not available without the shower head. However, the shower arm has universal 1/2" threads that should work with your shower head. Below is a link to our selection of Valve-Only 17 series trim kits. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/tubshower/filter-results.html?sort=pricelowhigh&finish=cr&parts=type-tub-valve&tech=volumecontrol The shower arm and flange are RP6023 and RP6025. My shower drips every other day and I think I need a replacement part for the valve. The shower was here when I bought the house so not sure what part to buy. All I can see is delta 17 mnmn choice tm.  What part do I need to buy?

Asked by: Barb
Hi, Barb. Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta T17230 faucet. We recommend to replace the adapter assembly, RP46073. We also recommend to flush the valve to make sure no debris is stuck inside, causing the leak. Best Regards, Rosanna

Tempurature control slow to respond.

Late 1990s shower. Intermittently but now mostly you have to move the temperature control a lot to change temperature at all but then over responds. I have lowered the gear limit as you could make it too hot and made sure the screw is not too tight. This is not an issue in other showers. I am worried the valve won't control the temperature at all soon as the temperature often seems stuck. What should I try next?
Asked by: Jeff
Hi Jeff, Thank you for your question. It sounds like the next step would be to replace the cartridge. The cartridge is what controls the volume and temperature mix in the faucet. The part number for a 1700 series replacement cartridge from the 1990's is RP32104. Thanks, Dave

How do I adjust water tempature

I cannot get water hot enough in my shower and need to adjust the valve on Monitor 1700 series so that it will allow more hot water to flow
Asked by: Dennis
Hi Dennis, Thank you for your question. Your model T17230 is equipped with a rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max hot water temperature for the faucet. Step 4 on page 7 of the attached manual will show you how to adjust the rotational limit stop and increase the water temperature. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/t17230.html?document=mi&fromDetailArea=bath&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper We also have a how to video to show you how to make the adjustment. http://www.deltafaucet.com/shopping-tools/research/video-gallery/video.html?v=n2_uZ7wgV1I&cat= Thanks, Dave
